I have been there when in the Navy. . and I have an antidote for when I was there. I took a walk around the inside fence of the military base. I carried with me some cookies, and some warm coca cola when a US Army guard came up to me and said I was lucky one of the many guard dogs hadn't attacked me! . I looked him in the eye and said. Do you mean these cookie eating dogs? .there were two of them that came running to me, I petted them both and gave them each the last of my cookies. then walked off as he yelled at the two dogs that had been on guard duty that morning. . I got chewed out a bit by the watch on the ship when I came aboard. (but when i told him the story he just laughed too)

I might add. Gitmo is only one of the USA's bases in the world, but they do the same things there as they do in ALL the other countries where they have bases. They are there to irritate the governing bodies of those countries, and to force there ways upon the people in those countries. (personally I think they should get out of all other countries, and stop there aggression)

From 300 million $ expense of military base in Guantanamo the rent for land to Cuba is 4. 000$? Fair presentation of US exploitation! That US general or what ever he is, is so proud of the occupation of foreign land so the world can see how the Allies became the Axis. That is what happens when you import tons of nazis in USA, remember von Braun?

The title of this video does not represent its title. Perhaps you should have titled this as life in and around Guantanamo? Didnt cover the Cuban Missile Crisis or all the people that fled Cuba for Freedom in America. This is not an unbiased report and very disappointed.

The base serves a useful purpose for holding enemies of the US off of US soil that could wreak havoc in the continental US if they escaped with or without outside help.
