I'm wondering where you got your information about the Hyksos being from Palestine? Nothing online appears to support that idea and in fact there seems to be a debate over their origin. Here are the top 3 different leading archaeological statements:
1) People of mixed Semitic and Asian descent who invaded Northern Egypt
2) Greek word for an Egyptian title which means rulers of foreign lands or hill countries. Misunderstood but known that Hyksos comprised of a small group of Western Asian people who ruled over Northern Egypt
3) Archaeological evidence does not support Manetho's story of the Hyksos as an invading force that swept over Egypt and took over the north, then ruled as a foreign dynasty. Instead it suggests that Hyksos rulers were people who descended from Asiatics who had been living in Egypt for generations.
Anyway, doesn't appear that they are from Palestine. It would have been called Palastine (pronounce like Fill-uh-steen) at that time anyway, as Palestine was a name that came later and was a foreign name for the people (Greek name. In Arabic it's still called Philistines and Palastine in the modern day and still called Palestine and Palestinians in English (a language which has roots from Greek/Latin words.

You would have to be a fool to believe some European assessment of how they THOUGHT what mightve taken place. And why do Europeans automatically assume that there were evil / dark forces of something that are speculating? First they (researchers said that the Sphinx was built 2K years ago. then they changed to the Sphinx was built more than 10K years ago.
Dont trust this or anything about Egypt and its history. The Egyptian history that has played out appears to have played out much different and no where near our current/ or past speculations.
