Yes, pun intended. In this, the age of the Internet, Nikola Tesla has enjoyed a posthumous surge in popularity that makes Einstein look like an old french fry. It took an entire David Bowie to fill his shoes in The Prestige. Our RL Iron Man makes electric cars with his name. You can buy F--- Edison t-shirts for $25. The renaissance is here, and its been a long time coming. Today, were looking at things you didnt know about Nikola Tesla

It frustrates me so much how public schools taught us all that Thomas edison was such a good guy. When in reality he was a swindling weasel. Edison wasn't just crappy to Tesla, edison was known for ripping off other people's inventions. Even his video camera was mysteriously only known by Edisons creation and no one mentioned the french guy who built the first moving picture player but also that man went missing and never had his body recovered from a train ride he disappeared on. Then edison held full rites to the moving picture player. Then edison did everything he could to defame Teslas name and reputation. In my opinion Tesla was a true savant when it came to creating and inventing and advancements. Sure he could of been a bit eccentric but you cannot argue with the amazing contribution he gifted humanity that was rooted in solid science.

You make it seem like Tesla was this poor (literally) who died broke because he got screwed. That's not true at all. He was famous and made tons of money in his life but he spent it all on passion projects, and he dipped and other peoples bank accounts to fund those passion projects as well. The fact he died broke is on him. Westinghouse did screw him but only on one deal once in his life. He still made a lot of money, just not nearly what he should've out of that deal. The rest of his life he also made money and had plenty of opportunity to make money.

Tesla was giving us the technology of the futures past. We have fallen from our grace as beings of light and love, living in fear of death instead of grasping it by the had and walking side by side through the ages. For a species that believes on reincarnation, we sure Don't seem to care about our next loves much.
Tesla could've given us flying cars, free electricity, free housing and medical care. his exact words were, I wish to power the world by use of free energy.

Several years ago I was at the Smithsonian of Ameerican history and walked into an exhibit all about Thomas Edison, complete with a full-size cut out of the poser. The only Tesla reference I found was a hand written letter from him in regards to an improvement to an implementation Edison, or more appropriately the many well funded engineering teams he commanded, could be made. Like a 3x5 note. That's it. Nothing else, and that is a gosh dang shame. #edisonwasaposer

The forgotten Tesla knew the Word of God: Then the kings of the earth and the great ones and the generals and the rich and the powerful, and everyone, slave and free, hid themselves in the caves among the rocks of the mountains, calling to the mountains and rocks, fall on us and hide us from the face of him who is seated on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb, for the great day of their wrath has come, and who can stand?

Im all for people learning the truth and was surprised to learn about the truth about Edison and Tesla, a truth that forever led me to question the history taught in grade school. But in keeping with that, people should know that he was, like many of his time, into Eugenics, which fell out of popularity when practically employed by the Nazis. Be careful of the depth of your hero worship is what Im saying.

Its funny how some serbs want to think Tesla was Serbian. He was Croatian. Born in Croatia (Dalmatia. Dalmatia has been intepentend for thousands of years) and he has said he is proud of his CROATIAN roots. Not Serbian. Even though the two countries are close, they have always been really separated from each other by culture, land, people and politics.

You mention nothing about his suitcases that were found! You mentioned nothing about the suitcase that went to his homeland. You mentioned absolutely nothing about his family. That's really sad because it's important to who Tesla was. You kind of skim a few things and add them in here without any depth or true knowledge

There is a movie of Tesla that just come out and it tells you about the fight both Tesla and Einstein to better up each other
Plus there's the Hugh Jackman and Christian Bale movie the Prestige about two magicians trying to out do each other they have Tesla In the movie and then they mention Einstein

All geniuses have their quirks and eccentricities, and I am not an exception, neither. Albert Einstein is one of my idols, as is Nikola Tesla and Dr. Michio Kaku; they are brilliant men, and an inspiration to science, math, tech, and engineering, as well a brighter future.

Tesla was inventing in his brain or mind. He was able to took apart whole imaginative machine in his head and put together, only when he was satisfied with results he would build in real world the same machine he assembled in the mind.

My father has been gone for nearly 14 years, but he said for years that anything Thomas Edison invented, Nikola Tesla invented it first. My dad talked about how brilliant Tesla was, years before it became popular to do so.

nothing is an accident with tesla. he had 100000% full knowledge of what he was doing. the problem is the uncriticizable couldn't meter wireless power and couldn't profit.

Can you look into the 20 missing trunks filled with Tesla's life's work that we're missing when he died? He had 80 before he died and only 60 were recovered after he died.

Very unreliable. Knew he was Croatian cos he was born in Croatia and his mother was Croatian, but thank u for that misinformation that he was Serb
reply

Serbian? Ur wrong my friend. He was born in Croatia and his mother was Croatian! Very far from Serbian. U can say Yugoslavian, but not Serbian.

Can anyone imagine generating millions of watts of power at Niagara falls at 250 volts, and only being able to power homes a half mile away?

I love this creator! The narration is alway excellent. This one in particular, you are in rare form, but by far one of the most entertaining!
