here is my observations which have proven to be 99% accurate. its not the creative world of entertainment showbiz or even tech world maybe some money from these funding political lobbies bucket list which has 'Jackson ' as blacks and other was white like these two political parties running the show which is supposed to be leaderships and in whose hands peoples lives are, normal hardworking people have no clue what this garbage pail has been up to till now except they hurt their own people also and none of sound good work done for them last more then half century, the misconception of building any racial group especially blacks when they do not have thing in them except for maybe some sparks that too few far in entertainment or steroid driven sports ugly one that too, USA football rugby is worst hurting busting heads bones, and basket ball when not all of same height and tallest is bound to win putting ball again and gain in net closer to his dumb duh head height so another con game fooling in monies since ages. in my own capacity trying to build certain layers at the bottom i clearly understood that they do not want to be build but their loves made better in those layers only and that was all they wanted, and that's how it should be in Nobody left behind but here the ugliness created of so called terror intimidation attacks obscenity's to what not on other communities, individuals not even interested in these black white shit clubs, and not even abating shall have repercussions for decades to come

---TIMELINE ROCKS---
Chaplin and Marx dying in the same year would have been disheartening.
It is crazy seeing the beginning of things like VISA and Star Wars, those are things that sometimes seem like they have been around forever.
LOVE Fleetwood Mac's album Rumors, it is one of my favorite albums.
What a ground-shaking year.
I watched this with my mother, I belive that is five TIMELINE episodes in a row we watched it together.

Even if my first home video game system was the Atari Super Pong in 1976 my life of gaming really started the next year in 1977 months after my mother took me to see Star Wars in the theater that same year I got the Atari VCS for my birthday and all nine games that was first launch with the system. To this day I still have that system and yes it still works unlike many todays consoles.

Damn, that Bundy dude was a slippery character, and those that where tasked with keeping him behind bars and away from the general public hand a terrible habit of underestimating his cunning and desire to escape prison. Any deaths that occurred after he was supposed to be behind bars is the fault of those that didn't do their jobs well enough to keep that lunatic locked up.

I was 6 years old when I saw Star Wars that year. Back then we just enjoyed the movie as entertainment and just simply played with the toys. Now we have all these fanboys who were born years alter arguing over or getting offended by every last detail while their toys still sit in the box, telling those of us who were there from the start that we're not real Star Wars fans.

I remember having a hernia surgery a month after I turned 9. I remember news of Elvis dying. I remember the Star Wars craze that took hold that summer. I would buy Star Wars bubblegum cards, and look through them while listening to the soundtrack album my parents got me from joining the Columbia House Record Club.

Chaplin left the country after a series of controversies? Brother, he went to England for the premiere of his film Limelight and had his reentry permit revoked on suspicion of being a communist, an accusation for which he was surveilled by the FBI for decades prior. Kind of a major point to gloss over.

Hialeah, Miami Lakes class of 1977 here, I vividly remember seeing the Miami snow that cold morning before school. I also remember seeing Star Wars that summer at a drive-in theater. And working at a gas station when a friend told me Elvis just died!

Fun fact: the original Little Orphan Annie comic strip was actually written as a denunciation of FDR's New Deal. Of course, once Hollywood got a hold of it, they quickly removed any criticisms of the ridiculous big government socialist program

The narrator (who is brilliant by the way) is the victim of some unfortunately overzealous de-essing on his V. O. track. I've made this mistake on my own V. O. 's before with the same hilariously cartoonish results. Thufferin' Thuccotash!

Seemed like a lot of pivotal and cultural beginnings happened in 1977. With the most tragic happening on the 16th of August, with the death of Elvis. But for me, the 16th was the start especially that being the day I was born. 8/16/77.

i was in the army in 76 as an e - 2 pvt. the base pay was 443. 00. taxation on a single kid was heavy so we probably got home with 75 bucks a week. it didnt buy much hash -- especially when you had to repay loan sharks 20 for 40.

For me and a lot of others Star Wars was all that mattered back then. A young teen with no real worries yet and not a care for what was really going on in the world but just starting to take notice of it all.

1977 also saw the launch of the Apple II, Tandy TRS-80, and the Commodore PET, arguably kicking off the home computer revolution that we still experience today.
Not sure how you missed that one.

I wish that Disney doesn't buy Star Wars and a relative of George Lucas takes over Star Wars instead.
I miss the old Star Wars Legends is way better than Canon.
