Long before the first Europeans set foot on American soil, the native people who lived there had spent centuries perfecting the art of combat. Even after visitors arrived from across the vast oceans with superior technology and weaponry, Native American guerilla tactics prevailed so thoroughly that the invaders were forced to adopt similar strategies. From the Mourning Wars tactics to the tactics of the French and Indian War, Native American soldiers and scouts proved themselves capable of immense cunning and incredible feats of military prowess

Washington was hailed a hero because he had 2 horses shot from under him and had 7 bullet holes in his clothes. He was the only officer not killed or seriously wounded. I don't think he was a lieutenant colonel just a very young Lt. he was a hero because he didn't panic but formed an orderly retreat and and regrouped the survivor's probably saved them from being totally wiped out. A 19 year old Daniel Boone was also a wagon driver bringing up the army supplies in that campaign. There was a famous chief thst fought against Washington thst day who said he instructed his men to shoot Washington again and again but they kept missing and it was unexplainable in their eyes, he believed the young Washington was protected by the great spirit an indeed he was never ever wounded in battle and to be unflinching when in great danger. This famous story of Washington was placed in thousands of school books for about 100 years because people used to know history.

I am a direct ancestor of Christopher Gist. He was at the battle of The Mongahelia. He also lead George Washington into the Ohio Valley to document and Survey for expansion west. Wheeling Virginia and Cumberland MD. we're the furthest West that whites had incurred into indian territory at that time. I have access to Christophers diary which matches the accounts of George Washingtons diary to the T. Without Christopher Gist there would not have been no George Washington to serve as Commander of the Continental army or later President of the United States believe that!

Pretty happy to have an accurate Native American video. I'm Lakota Sioux Rosebud (Plains Native Tribe) so it's always nice to see stuff like this. Especially on the use of yells and strategies and the use of and adopting weapons. One of my favorites (also a family relic too) was the Gun Stock Club, which many tribes adopted including mine. Keep up the work brother.

In an era where mis information, Leftist propoganda are at a height, it's important to be as accurate as possible. For Instance, within the first 10 seconds you say the Natives were warriors long before the whites arrived, then you show a picture of them on horseback. They didn't have horses before the Europeans arrived.
reply

But. The Native Americans were all Peace loving and lived in perfect harmony with nature!
Oh wait, no the weren't, they raided, pillaged, raped, tortured, enslaved and made war upon their neighbors, who were Native American tribes, for THOUSANDS of years before the White Man arrived.
weird huh?

The fighting in the west was actually in favor of the natives for a long time. Until the government offered their land for free and caused massive a flood of white settlers, built rails for them to travel on, and killed the Natives food sources rendering their underlying way of life impossible.

Mohawk here, the scalping was originally started from the French, they liked our hair and used them for their wigs at the time, we shaved our heads into the iconic mohawk to stop them and eventually French armies paid us to do the same practice to the English as bounty and terror tactics

No so. Nobody knows when or who started the practice of scalping. You need to dive deeper into historical records to know this. Try it, as it will update your opinion.

Random question, but I've been wondering for a while now:
When you guys put up your subject titles (e. g. Sophisticated Battlefield Communication at 7: 33, what's the image in the background? It's clearly a distortion of some image, but I can't quite make it all out.

Some tribes were fierce like the Commanche, others were peaceful. They all had different tactics. Its hard to generalize, the tribes were all so different. Some ate fish others didn't. Some practiced human sacrifice, some ate raw meat. Etc.

I think youll find Custer and his men didnt have technologically advanced weaponrythey had single shot carbines (most of the natives had repeater rifles, left their Gatling guns at base camp and didnt even have swords at the Little Bighorn.
reply

Yep imagine life before the whites men only hunt fish fight and fk as many wife s as you can take care of woman made the houses watched the kids lay your blanket anywhere you please clean water fresh air abundance of wildlife
reply

Not a bad video but you are certainly playing down the massacre of women and children. You're also pretending people being taken as slaves after watching their family be raped and murdered was incorporating them into the tribe
reply

The greatest honour of a warrior is a righteous defence of your family and people. These native warriors were all heroes. The entire lands of the Americas should still belong to all the great nations that were natively there.
reply

The true Americans our American Indians were badass AF. Thru using their tactics, our Nation was born. Washington was smart enough to see the superiority of their devastating tactics. If only we had smart Patriots now.

In higher realms the whiteman is probly more than a saying, and in appearance of native pigments in connection to a fallen dragon, boots and spurs from no pre aquantance forced to the redhairs of appalaichain region.

These are more of a blend of colonial period and manifest destiny era tactics. Not to mention Europeans more or less taught natives to scalp for bounty. they use to ask for the head but the scalp was easier to carry.
reply

All of these pictures I see of these dark skin Native American people they say the European wipes them out but wouldnt it be easier to just simulate with Africa Americans and just call themselves black?
reply

History is the most important subject I always loved History as a kid and always wanted to be a History teacher but that didn't happen. Those who fail to learn from history are doomed to repeat it
reply

Wait. my Leftist teacher told me Native Americans never went to war and were always peaceful before the white man came. you mean to tell me that she's creating a BS woke narrative!
lol

One tip for future videos - the injection of humor serves only as a distraction to the otherwise good content. No need to throw in clips that have nothing to do with the story.
