Built during the 1st century CE, the Colosseum attested to the power and gravitas of the Roman Empire. Events at the Colosseum, originally called the Flavian Amphitheater, entertained the masses in Rome and often featured elaborate spectacles. Details from Roman gladiatorial combats, mock battles, and raucous celebrations are full of wild accounts of unusual and unexpected happenings at the Colosseum. Over the centuries that followed, the massive amphitheater was repurposed in even more surprising and very often unconventional ways. First they tried to claim that Cleopatra wasn't of white Greece heritage and now a African Roman, lmao. Jennifer Aniston would make more sense playing Cleo in a future movie over any bs person they place in it. Hollywood is afraid of looking racist making a movie about a African Kingdom, so they gotta steel European history. The same thing with the poc Disney princesses, last time I've checked there wasn't any poc princesses in mid evil Europe. But u can't have cloths and castles for a tribal princess movie.

Gladiator ll is full of woke actors whom I care nothing about and won't be adding to their bank accounts, just for them to turn around and tell me I'm racist and blah blah blah, all while they stiff their own farts in the woke echo chamber! No thanks!

As someone who has visited it, I will tell you you can’t comprehend how big it is til you’re standing inside of it in person. It’s literally jaw dropping. Easily rivals our biggest modern stadiums, built thousands of years ago

Your narrator already has a great voice and doesn't need those clown-ass imitations of people. I would hope to think the audience is smart enough to know when he's citing a quote.
I don't remember WH always being this way.

Loved the film. Denzel put in arguably his best performance ever and Paul Mescal was great too. Think the ideological struggle between the two was way more interesting than Commodus crashing out because of his daddy issues.

Could you explore the history of singers and entertainers Who were the earliest performers, and how did singing evolve over time How far back does the tradition of singing go

I'm just amazed at how the Romans invented cgi before we did. I left the movie halfway cuz it sucked so bad. Thought I was at a Diddy party there for a sec.

The irony is they whitewashed the twin emperors just because the activist writers needed a more trumpian look. Also they went full simple jack.

Gladiator 2 had sharks in the flooded coliseum battle but the water that filled the stadium is from freshwater aqueducts. Come on Ridley Scott!

Extremely morally flexible sounds like a term we should use more these days. Lately, so many people fall in this category sadly.

I find myself always being reminded that the Colosseum was made after Nero's time. I can only imagine the spectacles he wouldve put on.

This was one of the goofiest movies I’ve ever. That Pedro actor is one of the most pathetic people I’ve ever seen on film.
