The only real reasons that spurred things like Indian and others independent movements in these countries were huge gaffs like the famines or massive racial tensions in Africa if these never happened most of the people living in these nations would rather stay inside the empire the other than soviet actors trying to spur on anti colonial movements and i believe that as long as Britain to a hard line against communists America would likely support the colonial powers though less so to the amount of aid in our timeline America may have not liked colonialism but they disliked communism much less though to be honest even i think that past the fall of the soviet union i don't think 90% of the empire would have existed any fear that if we aren't with the Americans and empire nation The soviets will get us will be gone any nation that doesn't have very good ties with the Host nations will call for independence and in a post USSR fall the US would support any nation that wants decolonisation.
Also any nation that was a colony would have had less trouble with communism and military juntas as America and the UN would likely set up more stable elections rather than the quick rush to leave nearly all allied nations did after the war.

A good model would be how the world is pre Suez Crisis. also if the US was willing to prop up right wing dictators in Latin America to keep out the Communist then they will have no problem with a strong Anglo-French empires as a close ally. This might alternatively push them to even expand their influence over The rest of the americas. Even preventing a communist Cuba. Maybe even successfully buying Greenland. At this time the commonwealth countries were already well on their way to independence before decolonisation was even a thing in our timeline. Maybe the British can hold India b then cede influence over Canada to the US while keeping an autonomous but United AUstralia and New Zealand.

I am a strong believer that decolonization was one of the biggest mistakes that isn't talked about. The underdeveloped countries in Africa would be much better off under British control. They have proven to be incompetent leaders of Nations and are all in huge poverty and a skyrocketing population they can't feed.
What should have happened was that the African colonies could have instead have a devoled pariliament similar to what Scotland Wales and Northern Ireland have where they control a lot of their internal Affiars but have Miltary, Industrial, and foregin policy controlled by Westminster. Africa would have been probably still poor but at least better off than there current state.

I think Britain and France will give Italy back Libya Eritrea and maybe Somalia because they were so integrated the capital of Eritrea was 60% Italian Libyan population was 40% Italian and whit Italys population at the time being 45. 000. 000 and libyas being only 1. 000. 000 Italy already ha plans to complete italianize completely Libya whit 4 million settlers Britain and France handing it over to Italy who will manage it much better and almost no rebellion will spark could discourage or even stop the indipendence movements in Africa

Decolonization still happens in this timeline, so what is the point of this video? I know this is convoluted, but not more convoluted than your video on Atlantis.
Also, surprised you didn't mention Malaysia since they are a British colony right next to Indonesia which you do discuss.
In my view this scenario would be more realistic if America also embraced colonialism, and perhaps formed some kind of union with Britain like Oceania in 1984. But then again I know you already did a video on that which was awesome, so not complaining.

1. Why is Japan listed as part of the Anglo-Saxon world? Are you saying the US would've annexed Japan? Because if not Japan is real far from being Anglo-Saxon lol
2. If decolonization never happened the Philippines would've still be American and therefore part of the Anglo-Saxon world and, depending on how you want to define as a 'colony' Cuba would also be American.
3. No way in hell would India be down with uniting with Pakistan/Bangladesh. Also highly doubt they stay united with Buddhist Burma.

No wonder the USA staggers from war to war in our timeline looking for new enemies. btw, the British Labour party could never decide whether they were socialist or not. remember the arguments that were not ended by Tony Blair ditching clause 4 of their constitution. Corbyn shows their brand of socialism (owing more to Methodism than Marx ) is still very much alive.

4: 30 I disagree, Most older Indians I know who lived before and after independence look back fondly on British rule, the peace and stability amongst rival religions and regions on the Indian subcontinent, combined with the ability to escape the brutal Cast system and change your families lives was huge. India would have joined The Commonwealth Federation as an equal state and flourished.
