What if Sweden won the Great Northern War? David: The reason Sweden manage to conquer and establish so much in such a short time, was because of, strick military policy change, the Baltic sea, and of their navy, and trade navy so, supply lines being short in a alternate timeline which you propose.
Would not have been a problem, since in your calculation after poltava Sweden would basiclly have swept over north eastern and eastern europe.
And there for the main supply routes from Etnics Swedes to the rest of the empire would have been 110% or even 150% more easy since we ruled the baltic sea.
The German trading guild, East India trading company, Swedish Trading guild, and much more had a larger role than history makes it out to be.
You might have the bigger stick, but everyone needs to eat.
Interesting idea, but in my opinion the Swedes gained much in a short time, and did not adapt the respect to maintain it.
Best regards
Former Swedish Armed Forces
Amfibie bataljon Berga.

I don't really think the Swedes had a chance at Poltava, I mean their lines where so overstretched and peters' Scorched earth tactics would have forced teh Swedish to make a Botched withdrawal, meaning that Augustus could probably retake the throne in Poland. Peter probably would withdraw his best units before the Swedes could do anything and Peter calls upon his Baltic armies to finish the Job, either way by 1709 Sweden had no chance, even with Victory at Poltava Charles cannot defeat Peter, he gambled to much and was way too overconfident.

Napolean would never have been born. Even if his parents were born and met in this time line, the odds that they would have coitus at the exact millisecond for his sperm half to win the rush to the egg is basically 0. France was involved with the new world, the butterfly effects would have changed everything even is slightly.
Assuming the same people were born is just bad alt history.

I'm calling BS.
If Austria was afraid of Swedish power, it would be far easier to break away the entire Poland-Lithuania than to force Poles to give up Krakow. It is literally THE Polish land. The ancestral land, the first capital which was changed only a couple decades before. The only time Poles allowed it to be taken was when Poland stopped existing entirely.

Would Rev France and Napoleon be less deadly in this timeline? Part of Napoleon's military success was his study of the tactics employed by the Swedes in the Great Northern War. As Sweden would have been victorious in this timeline, I presume their tactics would be more widely copied.

4: 11 The South of Sweden was at that time NOT ehtnic swedes that part was taken from Denmark 50 years earlier and in the process of turning the population to swedes with great problems. There where irregular forces making guerilla warfare with some assistance of the population.

So funny enough my family came to North America through New Sweden I think something that got overlooked is if Sweden keeps the colony or even expands what's that mean for the USA no revolutionary war no Napoleon potentially

I don't think the French Revolution would have happened because if Sweden was supporting France in the war of Spanish succession France would probably win and become fabulously wealthy

As a Swede/Norwegian. I like how it looks like today, even that i'm feeling sad for my Norwegian blood who have fought with my second part which is Sweden and worst Nazi Germany.

So Sweden will basically just be Norway + Finland into Sweden. Tbh that version of Sweden, or at least the landscape looks like a snake that is about to eat tiny fish Denmark
