lol. thanks Hollywood. Nothing left for the realities. I would have still gone with something off the wall like.
'Tell me again why we are calling it Hyper Jump Is the fact that it is Hyper somehow better than regular Jump Oh, are we live See you Tuesday. ' Punch.
Nothing like leaving people hanging for a week on more than they were already hanging on. Can't you see Neil DeGrasse Tyson on dozens of interviews trying to 'splain.

Hi Everyone, Tom here, I’m the writer/director of Hyper Jump. I’m so happy to have Hyper Jump on Dust. It is the perfect home for the film. As something that started life as a fun lighting experiment it’s amazing to see it on a platform next to some truly fantastic sci-fi films. If you have any questions for me comment below and I’ll be happy to answer them.

It hits home here. I spent long trying to find a reasonable quote for an article I'm writing. It explains cognition rationally. Finally I found a quote: In youth we learn; in age we understand by Marie von Ebner-Eschenbach in her work Aphorisms.
Good job! It made me laugh a lot.

They would never let him wing it like that. A speech for a mission of this magnitude would have been prepared weeks in advance by a team of writers and he would have already had it memorized. But still mildly amusing so thanks.

I loved this short movie! I was expecting the Computer says something like I'm sorry David, I can't do that or something near that HAL 9000 computer said in Space Odyssey 2001. Congratulations for the awesome job, for all of you!

I'm amazed at the number of comments by people not getting the punchline. Evidently we're not all cunning linguists. Excellent, very funny movie. More fun in 4 minutesthan most of the 90 minute shite on Prime.
Thanks!

When lost for words, for which he had months, possibly years, to prepare a speech, well,
when he didn't actually prep anything just say Hello world, followed by the first thing
that pops into the mind.

If you wanted to say something profound, you could try, Today we open a new door into the unknown, or Today we create a new door to see what lies beyond what is known or something like that.

Omg! I haven't heard someone say see you next tuesday in years! That went right over my head for a few seconds. I had completely forgotten about it! This was absolutely hilarious!

Loved the Buckaroo Banzai quote; No matter where you go, there you are.
I means, be in the moment, and don't be so preoccupied by the past and what may come.

Clearly we need to suspend every space project until we have an appropriate inspirational message for each one.
Priorities, people.

How about; - Given that god is infinite. and that the universe is also infinite. would anyone like some toast. (Talkie-toaster.

That was the best Ryan Reynolds imitation I've ever seen! (Also, the ONLY one. still funny, though)

Learning that others have two weeks to prepare for his arrival makes the exsperance better for all concerned.

It does make you wonder if those famous 'impromptu' speeches were as impromptu as they appeared.
reply

Amusing, he was so anxious he didn't wait for the countdown and he fled into hyperspace: D
reply

THIS is why we let those who actually DO things make the quotes, and not script writers.

THAT was it!
come on guys. even I could do better than that!

Humanity's been waiting for this a long time, and. I forgot the bread.
