The lead actress was very good she reminds me of Xi Jinping's daughter. Ancient Chinese mythology is absolutely fascinating, I did not know about the moon rabbit until I saw this.
I wasn't sure what the magical bracelet was about, why the restaurant owner was targeted, and why Lana was walking alone at night in a bad part of town but it does sort of show the gritty dark side of Los Angeles with all of its various gang warfare going on.

This can't be the end. I really enjoy these DUST movies but enough with the short movies. This was the beginning of a full length feature film. When she turned the one thug into, pardon my expression, dust I was hooked into the story hard. But it can't just end there. I hope whoever is creating these movie shorts will come back to ones like Moon child and finish the unfinished story.

This was quite good, a little darkness in the story with her and her dad, then her being grown up, would be interesting to see a full movie as it had me watching from the off and interested in the concept and myth off the rabbit and moon.
Overall, could be made into a full on awesome movie.

Great short! I hope this gets fleshed out into a longer feature! I'll echo the brightness comments, though I'd say at least 50% of it was just fine, but there are a few scenes where I just could not tell what the focus was supposed to be, or just couldn't see anything but blackness. Love it though!

It is too dark.
we can't see anything.
On daylight there is light in the world, even in public places.
There is lights on buses.
I have to see what happens otherwise it is a radio drama not a film.

Not worth the watch, even allowing for poor sound & light. I got more from reading the film bio than wading through the video having to rewind to check what was said or shown.
After reading some of the comments I must have high expectations. Sorry I just don’t agree with them.

It really would be nice to get the full credits roll. This isn't Netflix. Why not show some appreciation for all the people who've worked on this film. And no, I didn't work on this. I don't have a horse in the race. Just a filmmaker who wants to appreciate other filmmakers.

A good start but a lil too slow build up and too vague about what was going on. Some mystery is good to build theories off of but this left too much. 16 mins and all we know is her dad died, she received mysterious power bracelet, someone is watching and she was attacked.

After I downloaded it and adjusted the light and audio levels so I could actually see and hear it, it was a very interesting video.
Based on a traditional story, and well written, I could see this being turned into a feature film.

I think it might have been a good film but I couldn't see what was happening because it was too dark. I hope next time you film with more light so I can see what is happening.

I dont know if maybe they have changed the brightness since everyone posted about it being really dark, but I watched on my phone and it was fine. I could see eveything.

Loud music and scenes shot in the dark do not make a good video. The story line was quite good but the overriding music and dark scenes took away from the effect.

Someone's end is someone else's beginning. Love this, the ending gave me chills. Be great if, at the end, both mom and daughter said we need to talk simultaneously.

It was so dark I could hardly see what was happening & even though I had the volume up full, I could barely hear what was being said! Didn't enjoy this at all.

Great storytelling, it must be continued. The lighting was appropriate for the setting, it gave it a darker atmosphere which added to the suspense and mystery.

First view was poor as sound was so low. Comments allowed me to find and use subtitles. So I watched it again. With subtitles, I really enjoyed the film.

It would have made more sense if the attack happened while Lana was at the restaurant instead of having her leave and then come back to an obvious trap.

Dammit, I know these are 'short' films. but this one could do with being just a touch longer. Like, an hour and half longer. Very good. Love it!
