I really like the fiction story idea. Great acting as well. I don't think the timing is right for this story though. One country has been stealing ideas from many countries for decades in present day reality, taking the credit for supposed amazing inventions, from unearned creativity. All for power and their fantasy concept of Glory. Their country was a Great world leader of inventions for centuries until Controller's took power, who stifled and destroyed the freedom of creativity the people had. What's ironic here, is that the country that created Panasonic rose to Real Glory, above poor quality workmanship out of pride and need, from a war torn country. The leaders of the country of the Bo Li name brought their country to shame, by ignorance and greed. Unfortunately, this movies idea came from the very concepts that country has perpetrated on the World it raided. Accept for wolf warriors in sheep's clothing, those of good intent who escaped, that now shamed country, moving to other Nations, are not like those leaders nor are so many millions, stuck there still. The idea of the Grandson saving his family through time was the highlight of the story and I enjoyed it. 10/26/2021

Nice to see one of these Dust shorts that has a complete narrative. I was smiling and laughing toward the end. I kind of expected great grandson's world to become way more technologically advanced since he gave his great grandpa an iPhone 5 in 1946! There should be colonies on Mars by great grandson and granddaughters' time. Still, awesome. Mr. Li and his wife founded BOLI Industries in their tenement basement apartment in 1946 It's reminiscent of Ray Bradbury

How interlocked we all are. We think we’re separate. One link in a chain disappears, we disappear too like that awful guy in the present. It’s like immigration many have a problem with. But if it wasn’t for that, those people wouldn’t be here. How easily we forget our origins. The past is our present and future.

I really loved this movie short. A mailbox links a grandfather with his grandson in time allowing him and the grandson to change, not just their pasts but their future as well but for the better. A great story with great actors and a happy ending for the good guys. Thanks, Dust. A1 excellent.

The disc player at 15: 37 IS ODDLY familiar to me. I had a disc player looking exactly like that.
It looked familiar with low resolution. I rewound it, increased the resolution and paused it. Looks exactly like the disc player I had.

I want to know why is the current family at the same financial status if great grandpa became a rich man. I'm not saying that there is a flaw in the story. I mean that there is some more to tell us in another film. :)
