Sci-Fi Short Film: High Score - DUST The landscape art in this one was absolutely beautiful. That misty, semi-corporeal mien and sense of wistful melancholy, isolation and unmeasured expanse of time and structural decay was such a lovely aesthetic. It really captured the feeling of patient, persistent waiting and deliberately forced hope turned into a routine that one sticks to only because without it there would be nothing else to cling to. Personally, this environment is extremely appealing to me, and Ive never felt lonely, or anything much in the way of emotion or empathy in general for that matter, so for that feeling to be imparted through no more than a few minutes of film is no small feat. Brilliant work.

Love it when Dust offers a complete story rather than a 'preview' or a 'premise'. Too many of these are ultimately unsatisfying because they are clearly incomplete. That said, I am always blown away with the technical ability everywhere displayed in each film. Still enjoy the scifi stuff a lot.

_Reminded me of I am Legend, when Will Smith’s character would broadcast on all AM airwaves for someone, anyone to come meet him. .anybody. please. you are not alone. I watched the movie at least a dozen times and have always wondered, What if. what if_

It's rare that you find a short film with the completeness of this one! Visually stunning, intriguing and with a very in depth storyline! I was INCREDIBLY IMPRESSED with this short! It should be nominated for awards!

AFK (1: 55! What an idea! Would like to do it more often. But its still hard to leave home these days. The advantage of playing online is to find new friends around the globe. The disadvantage is, how to meet them in real!

That was a really sweet film! In so. many ways to me, it echoes the same reaching out to others while stuck in isolation that so many of us have done during this pandemic.

As a gamer, I thouroughly enjoyed the storyline. The story was unique, void of fillers and unnecessary distractions, and captivating for such a short piece. Well done!

I really like the animation style in this. The film sort of shows how I feel whenever I actually connect with another filmmaker online!

Eerily prescient and reminiscent of a tragically lonely Michael Jackson-esque Matador lost in the Movie Set of The Book of Eli.

I lowkey wanna see a part two to this It bring more interest, who could be player 2 male, female, possible creature

To suggest we will be cut off from human interaction and we'll have to find sneaky ways card out. Interesting

This is a complete story with an actual conclusion, but I would really, really like to know what happens next.

To that day at least one of them could have learned how to modify software and find help. If they only needed help.

I like the fact that to continue talking to each other they have to make the highest score every time.

Fantastic short film about the positivity of arcade games. I truly hope the character meets their soulmate.

You sure have to hit a lot of buttons just to run, jump, and shoot. Clickity-clickity-clickity.

I liked it.
The shadow on his neck made it look like he had a beard.
Kind of weird

1970s content and graphics, 50 years old. Although I date to that time, I don't like this.

That opening scene reminded me of Samurai Jack. The art style seems to be a close cousin.
