Basically a retelling of Plato's Allegory of the Cave - a group of people being kept underground in a cave, their only reality being a false projection of reality that is an inaccurate representation of the world outside the cave - here, the screens of an inhospitable Martian surface are the false representation of the world outside the cave. The false sun in Plato's cave is represented here as the artificial blue & red lights in the bunker - the color of the lights intentional, to emphasize their artificial nature. The chain restraining Plato's prisoners is shown here as the symbolic string used to tie male and female pairs together. The key element of Plato's cave being that the prisoners aren't willing to leave the cave as the shadow projections and the false sun in the cave constitute their entire reality, one which they're unwilling to leave, as they're not aware of the real world just outside. Really surprised that nobody else got the reference to Plato's Cave.

accepting the fate of what life hands you - knowing that the perfect helpmate - lover - friend came and went a few times when you was young before you could feel with your heart and soul and only think with your mind - that is what wisdom is - which then leads to endurance in a barren landscape of strangers and their insanity melted out in various degrees = while you grow older waiting for your own new earth - your own new existence beyond what you can imagine here - surrounded by people who still thing something great is going to happen to them when it already has come and gone. If they could only see that - then things would not have been in vain - because acceptance of what purity of love is knows no time or needs any specifics to be a life long treasure that is your souls to keep. right now we are all Martians living on earth - perhaps we will learn to BE human on earth together - with no need to wait for a better day to arrive because we are living it NOW.

Basically a quickie remake of Logan's Run. Also non-believable, because even a High School student would notice the difference between dropping anything on Earth and dropping something when on Mars - the acceleration would be radically different, as would walking, jumping, etc. And so it would be instantly obvious to anyone that they weren't really on Mars if everything worked, gravitation-wise, as it does here on the only planet we're actually evolved to live on.

Fear is a powerful emotion to overcome. It’s initial purpose is to keep us from harm but to those who crave control/power it’s a weapon that can be used against us. I make no reference or comparisons to current events. Let’s just say someone’s ferocious cravings are currently being satisfied but there will always be those who through strength, bravery and courage face their fears thus starving the monsters that would otherwise feed on them.

If you weigh yourself on Mars, the scale reads about 38% what it does on Earth. So these prisoners had either no access to scales, or no accurate records of what people typically weighed on Earth, or no knowledge of the relative surface gravity of the planets. I guess those are all plausible enough, but if there are doctors, they'd probably want to weigh them.

How would a weird underground cult like that last long enough to indoctrinate children into its false narrative when the outside world is apparently going on as normal Especially when it's that easy to escape I mean, the door isn't even locked.

Nicely done. Though it became predictable after first 5 minutes. Though there was some kind of bareness to the film which I liked. casting was good: Venus 7 has innocent face; I think that's what needed for the role. Overall, interesting.

This story is pretty much in line with what is happening now. The lies, fear mongering, the you can't, you will, you must conform rhetoric of those in power. Difference is, the people who woke up decided to do something about it.

So this is basically a short version of Logan's Run, but when she finally got to see him in bright sunlight, she realized too late how ugly he actually was, and started crying, because she could not go back.

I love watching these shows, the only draw back is either the volume is to low so I increase then boom, its so loud I try to lower volume fighting to find my remote, glad my neighbor is hard of hearing
