Sony had me excited until they shot down the rumors of backwards compatibility with all generations, and their recent comments about putting their focus towards American customers over Japanese (which means catering to those polygon otaku types). So nah, I may actually not get a Sony console for the first time ever.

you're lucky to actually get one, All the consoles are sold out and guess where they are, selling for up to $2,000 on ebay, its like they are that one tall guy picking on short people holding things we want over our heads and out of our reach, its sad that people will stoop this low for some money.

I'm buying a Series X Friday off ebay. I have a Series S preordered at gamestop already. I went through the hassle of waiting in line. And im skipping all that. So I will have both machines now.
I got a new bank and my money goes in Friday so that's when I'm doing it

Amazing... We-re complaining about games being released unfinished but not about consoles being released without a new game to play. What in the actual f---? !

Compatibility is the best way to reduce e-waste. I'm glad Microsoft is doing it instead of just going with consumerism and making your old stuff useless.

If struggling for room, you can put the console behind the TV maybe. I do this with my PC. Not the best if you still consider using DVD's.
