These games are exactly why piracy even exists.
Some of these games are gems still but you need to go through some 'black market shenanigans' to acquire them now.
For example: No One forgot the Deadpool game. Guaranteed. The game was before the movies remember. 3 years before.
The hype of Deadpool hadn't happened yet.
It just did not bring anything special to the universe, never had a DLC not really. 2 maps that last 5 minutes total is a crap DLC. lets face it and next to no updates. It was just a one trick pony with very very little need to return after finishing it once.
They did not care about it themselves.
If you made some DLC's right now for it, I PROMISE you, It will sell MORE copies in 2 weeks than it did in its entire run.

I feel like the only dude that still likes Rise of the Imperfects. Yeah the Imperfects themselves were hit and miss but none of the Marvel characters were misses. It gave us characters we haven't used in big environment and allowed us to use them in big environments. Daredevil(who never had his own game, Iron Man(who's games largely suck, Magneto. On top of that, it was a fighting game that gave you the space to have the kind of fight a superhero would. Not in a closed off 20ft 2D environment. But something were you could move and maneuver.

He really hates Nemesis. I'm curious to know who at the studio made the list and then gave it to him. To say, all I know is every time he's talked about Nemesis he talks about it like it's got a bad taste in his mouth. To be honest, I thought the game was pretty crappy when I first got it, but compared to some of the modern games and the goofs they've done with them going back to it, there's a lot better than playing the new ones

Unpopular opinion: I hated web of shadows and don’t see why it’s so beloved. Voice acting is terrible, the story is predictable, and the gameplay is pretty broken. I like the choices and the different endings but it’s not enough to save This terrible game. I know I’m in the minority but I really hated this game. However if you want to tease me I love Spider-Man: friend or foe! Bring on the hate

I love the Marvel Ultimate Alliance games. I did literally everything on MUA3 and have hundreds of hours on it. I love all 3 games but MUA3 is my favorite for the art style, faster gameplay and huge character roster. I hope MUA4 is made but who knows if it will be. Never say never because years after MUA2 I never thought MUA3 would happen.

Web of shadows was an absolute gem and it was forever brilliant
A symbiote apocalypse in new york
Villains and hero's becoming Symbiote versions of themselves
The combat in ground, walls and in the air and the unique styles of both suits
Web if shadows is honestly a brilliant games and I will forever love it

X2 was my childhood nemesis. I didn’t finish it as a kid because I was always stuck during the magneto fight. Recently played it as an adult and beat the game. A single tear ran down my cheek knowing I’ll never have to play this game again and I finally beat the game that was stuck on my mind all these years

I remember playing the X2 and X-Men 3 video games. I remember enjoying them quite a bit. I also remember playing the X-Men Mutant Academy/Next Dimension fighting games published by Activision after Capcom lost the license in the 2000s. Those games are broken but very fun if you're willing to deal with jank.

The first game I thought of was DC Universe Online. Does anyone remember that game I didn’t play it because at time I wasn’t into MMOs but I remember watching my dad play it. He played maybe like an hour of it then silently logged out then switched over to City of Heroes. Which was very funny to me.

I played half of these. If they were still available today, I'd definitely have some on my pc now. Sadly almost all of these games were published by Activision and they lost rights to Marvel games. Disney If you magically see this, re-release all thew old Activision games. You will make so much money

The Deadpool game was 100% Deadpool all the way. The jokes, 4th wall breaks, lighthearted grittiness, the cameos, and chimichangas! The only con for me was the gameplay felt dull imo. Hell, the story and jokes were the only reason I even finished the game lol

I raise you The Darkness by Starbreeze Studios and The Darkness 2, by Digital Extremes. although I prefer the one by Starbreeze. Unfortunately, this game never came out on PC as far as I know, was 360 and PS3 only unfortunately. Completely badass game though

I played ultimate alliance 2 every summer/fall in middle school and it is the best example of a single player squad based game that people need to replicate into a new modern game. Super heroes or not, the concept must be studied!

I've played X2: Wolverine's Revenge, but X-Men Origins Wolverine [Which I own on Xbox 360] is way better!
I recently bought Captain America Super Soldier, Thor God of Thunder, and Deadpool off of Ebay for good prices.

the deadpool game actualy at 1st i was like ok lets me just play this trash game ill get bored when i know its bad, ok well that was unexpected i only played it to meme on it, ended up finishing the whole game and found it fun

Ah, some goodies here. Web of Shadows and The Punisher were both very good games. The aerial combat in Web of Shadows was so cool, and The Punisher was almost a prototype for the combat we'd see in games like Saints Row 2.
reply

I loved playing The Punisher and Deadpool games the only downside to the punisher hame was that the torture scenes went to black and white which spoiled it in my opinion apart from that it was a good game none the less
reply

Most of these games were too damn buggy. Which is why there were forgotten. The Deadpool game is fun. As is Spidey. But Marvel Ultimate Alliance 1 is da BOMB. Still playing that one. MUA 2 sucks.
reply

While not a Superhero in the usual sense i would add Infamous to the list.
Never played I3, but i loved Infamous 1 2 on my Playstation.
Pity we never got a proper PC release and / or a 4th part

reply

Because of licensing and our digital hellscape works.
Uh. No.
Try greed.
Its simple greed that keep this from being available.
Dropping hundreds while arguing with people over pennies.
