Constantly being clinched and not being able to just push the guy off of you was just so damned frustrating - it was also the only game I sold back to Game Stop.
Not sure I can commit back to the franchise.

The EA UFC games are beyond bad. Graphics are ok, presentation is ok that s where the good points end.
EA MMA is better, UFC Undisputed 3 is miles better. The combat is better, the grappling and ground game is better in the older games. The older games had doctor stoppage.
EA let the devs work go work on Fight Night the devs said they want to make it the fans want to play it, we don t want MMA games and this is coming from a old school MMA games.

UFC 4 was my main game with almost 1k hours on it and I enjoyed the upgrade solely because it s an upgrade of something I already play often. If you weren t that into UFC 4 and are expecting a revolutionary difference in 5, save your cash. Agree with most of what s said in this video

No division has the top 15 in the rankings, only two divisions have the top 10. One of the male division has only 6 active UFC fighters. 0 new additions from the last game. It seems the gameplay and whatnot is somewhat divisive, but all can agree they did the roster dirty

THQ's UFC games had it right more than a decade ago for the ground game: half and quarter circles with the right stick to try and transition, hold right stick back to try and block them, and just uses strikes to mess up your opponent's timing.

The video hints at it, but I'd like a direct answer from the comments. Can UFC 4 skills transfer to 5? If so, how easily?
Also, how's the online lag? Because, for some reason, these game always have lag issues for me.

Imagine me after watching this video going searching to buy this game on PC, only to find out that it's not on PC. Please start with platform exclusivity next time. Or at least mention it at any point in the video.

I still prefer the Fight Night series over these. Why did they stop making them?
They should bring it back with all the character features and damage models that they have in this etc. etc.

Can someone tell me what the hell is the point of having a fight kit and a vanity kit for CAF fighters if you STILL can only play wearing vanity items in fight now?

I've seen some gameplay and the graphics at time can look whacky/glitchy, especially when grappling. Do we know if they'll patch that up? cause I want to buy this.

My favorite was UFC 2. It had faster standing combat. Punches in 3 & 4 were to way too slow. It felt like a full second delay with punches. I ll see how 5 goes.
