nft of a random image that has no control on the level of steam or nintendo isnt a nft there is no security in the asset a monkey image someone can copy and paste thru a screen capture tool isnt valuable at all outside being something you can buy in something like imvu or second life nft markets without the non fungible token if you have a game like phantasy star online 2 and share these items thru showing them off gained like war ofthe vision
what people are ignoring is there are popular nft enhancable markets right now but what doyou expect from the ignorant children that are dumb to the potential to esports but are going to attempt to claim this is some how different to that data set its a easier and more secure way to host tournaments from the comfort of peoples homes for anyone

When I was a kid, there was a restaurant in San Jose called Doggie Diner that sold sandwiches and milkshakes. The way their sign was set up always made it look like they sold Pastrami Shakes.
That's how I feel about blockchain gaming I know what the two words mean. I just don't know why they're next to each other or how anyone thought that it could mean something that actually made actual sense. Blockchain gaming is the Pastrami Shakes of the modern gaming world.
I actively want everyone responsible for the decision at Squenix to deeply regret how stucking fupid this idea was, and to look at Embracer's (hypothetical) future success and think No we should not have done that. That was dumb. Every day. Until the sun burns out.

I remember this story when I hear about gamers who do hitless runs.
A man approached a king and claimed that he could get a thread into the needle-hole from 3 meters away. The king had a needle and a thread fetched, and the man actually did what he said. So the king gave him a wallet full of gold, but the king also had him whipped 40 times. When asked, the king justified:
Sure, what he did was extraordinary, worth the wallet of gold, but that skill is quite useless in life. He wasted so much time to practice something that has no use.

Just want to make a correction on #7 about Squar Enix and the selling of their western division. Squar states that they do not plan to use the money from the sale to fund NFTs as they have an alternative revenue for funding their NFT stuff. They've actually been planning to trim the fat for a while ad the western studios have not been preforming to their expectation for a while now. Yes thr game have sold a decent amount, but did not reach their level of expansions and whish to focus on their main division moving forward.

The breathing apparatus could be used for so much more than gaming. If you wanted a VR experience of boxing or climbing it could prove to be beneficial in getting the right climate or experience that way. It's not designed to be just for gaming. It could help firefighters train for limited breathing exercise or for the random person try to overcome anxiety. The uses of it are countless.

EA lost FIFA? You've got that backward. FIFA wanted a literal billion dollars for the licensing rights, and EA said they'd just keep making the same game but without the branding, and now FIFA is bitter and angry, if you look at what the president has said about it.
(And to be clear, I think EA and those games, whatever they're called, are garbage and money-grabs)

That VR breathing thing is going one step closer to something we dont want to go to.
The use of the wierd Sonic sounds brilliant and atleast the work that went into it wasnt all wasted.
It would be nice, if EA would just go out of business or would be bought by Paramount instead of Comcast and would be ruined as Star Trek and Halo.

What do you mean everyone loved Ugly Sonic in Chip n Dale? That scene was so dragged out and cringeworthy, you can not even describe. Its like a studio executive went _Fellow Kids_ and was like what happened recently that got everyone talking? Oh yeah, Sonic rework and they just beat the dead horse into oblivion.

The breathing add-on needed to be WAY simpler. The restricting breathing portion isn't useful enough, and it has potential downsides. If all it did was measure force of exhalation, that might be simple and cheap enough to produce, and would have almost all of the usefulness.
