COol vid but you might want to look at Star citizen more closely. You have 2 system right now but Squadron 42 allready has one or 2 and they said that the game will be out before the 100 star system are made.
Also the 100 star system was a promise for the original game, not the one we have now with so many different jobs, ships and location.
It's the only one to have a real sense of planetary decent, atmospheric flight and realistic space travel all in one game.

well I have barely played any games in this genre, I gave no mans sky a try but it wasn't for me. even from the games stated above, only haunted space has my interest. I want to see something unique in space games. like mcu universe, get some celestials in there, some god like beings, like gotg, that whole colony built in a dead celestial's head, planets like ego, venom's home, krypton, apocalypse, and boss battles like galactus. that's what I want in these games

The problem with most big games is that they are procedurally generated using the same old assets over and over again. The game worlds rarely have any depth. They have big empty biomes like deserts or snowy planets/worlds. They are mostly just crafting building games. Sandbox games can be fun but the only one that stuck with me was Minecraft and that's due to the level of freedom and creativity you can have in that game.

U guys need a better editor. So many times when the person will be explaining a specific scene but throughout the whole segment it just uses the same clip from one trailer. 9: 19 he says check out this tech demo. while still playing the same footage. Ur editor is lazy and should be finding the corresponding footage for what i am being told to look at.

I pre-ordered No Man's Sky and have never been happy with the game. Even after all the updates, balance changes, and new additions, it still felt lackluster and (imo) didn't deliver on its initial promises. I won't be jumping back on board with Hello Games until I see the new gameplay after release.

Starfield and No Man's Sky are so incredibly massive, and yet i couldn't be bothered to play either one.
I'll take a world that's designed with love and care over one that's just massive.
But let's be honest, the only massive here is that L Gameranx took after trying to turn on Endymion

Starship simulator is planned to also have interactible alien civilizations, explorable planets, and ship combat, so it won't just be focused on your ship and crew. It's pretty ambitious, but the devs have been really engaged with the community, and push updates very regularly.

Looks at the current state of gaming. Lets be real, all of these are going to be a let down, half baked, not released or scaled back massively, apart from maybe Hello Games one. Get a grip people and remember the age of gaming we are existing in.

I see the article on Endymion was deleted, but it was up for three whole days without a single correction. Please issue an official correction and an apology. Please do the right thing. Only then will I resub.

I agree that scale doesn’t always mean success. I recently finished assassin’s Creed Odyssey, and by the time I was done it just felt like I was finishing a chore that should’ve been completed ages ago.

Tell your buddy Dennis Patrick (whoever that is) It's a horrible idea to commit libel then just delete the article and not apologize. The internet is forever buddy. It aint' that easy to get rid of.

The only one I really trust is, light no fire. Hello games already proved that they could do it if given the time. And all the other ones are either in development hell, or just doing too much.

Bigger isn’t always better. Traversing in gaming is one of those things they have to do intelligently. Can’t just go on a 2 hour drive in a game and expect people to want to keep playing.

My fantasy game is basically a combination of NMS and starfield. NMS for infinite exploration and no loading screens, starfield for RPG and narrative elements, as well as combat.

Well, for star citizen, it didn't take a decade to add 2 star systems. It took a decade to make a game engine, game studio, and two truly next gen AAA games from scratch.

I don't even rate games based on their size anymore. Seems more like a marketable gimmick at this point now we know AI can create endless expanses effortlessly.

Story driven space games on consoles are seemingly non existent. If a dev were to make a spiritual successor to mass effect these days i think it'd be a big hit.
