Great video idea, but too many of the DIRT CHEAP prices listed here are for the base game only, not all the extra DLC too. In which case, for us oldschool the entire game or nothing types, the Complete/Deluxe/GOTY/etc version is the only one that counts, and then the price isn't nearly so dirt cheap as what is shown.
Aside from that though, yeah, Capcom is really good on discounts. Probably has the single highest total combined game quality AND discount aggressiveness of any publisher around, for that matter. I just wish Nintendo, Square Enix, and Sony would be like Capcom too in that regard, I'd actually buy more of their games then. Instead, I just keep passing on their games for other, similarly appealing games that do get good discounts a few years in.

I've been sticking with a wishlist for a sale approach for quite a few years now, enshrouded being the only one this year that was day one thanks to the nextfest demo. Saves a lot of money and by the time a sale rolls around theres a good chance that most of the launch bugs are ironed out. Plus being patient means you have more time to enjoy your current library rather than rushing to keep up with a creator who probably got an early key and maybe clear some of your backlog.
Comparison sites like isthereanydeal are useful for tracking the highs and lows of a price history, doesn't include the greymarket keysites so using it has less risk in the shopping around

As someone who’s played Blasphemous 1 a lot I have to say get the Bundle of Blasphemous 1 and 2 on sale. I’ve seen it on sale for around $22 they’re some of the best Metroidvania’s I’ve played. The first game has bugs though they’re not easily triggered one tip is just don’t open your map in right before land from a jump or you’ll fall through the floor.

Id love to buy darktide but for some asinine reason they still refuse to add the ability to play by yourself with bots. Like I just feel like there is no excuse, they simply could just apply the same ai, roughly, from vermintide. It cannot be that damn hard they did at least TWICE before. Like bruh I don't want to play with randoms ffs and none of my friends own it

Dredge is legitimately one of those games where you go in blind thinking its not really your style but everyone keeps suggesting it, and the next thing you know it's 6 am and the birds are chirping because you just accidentally pulled an all nighter glued to your screen trying to catch eldritch abominations while running from your own encroaching insanity.

Can’t believe the Witcher 3 wild hunt complete edition wasn’t on here. Granted it’s pretty old but I got it for 9. 99. And considering it comes with both expansions if you haven’t played that game it’s well over 100 hours of an incredibly well written and designed game for less than a Big Mac combo not to mention the mods you can tack on there

I wouldn't recommend GotG. One of the few suggestions by Gameranx that I played and wasn't happy with. Felt like a slog - sluggish animations and gameplay, boring story and VAs, cringey in places, etc. I forgive u guys tho, cos I took ur suggestions of Sleeping Dogs and Wolfenstein and they were great

4: 50 Gonna give a small warning about it. Yes it's nice counterpart to BG3 but it can so frustrating due to how Pathfinders system works. Seems to be more geared towards min maxing than building a character for fun. If you like CRPGs then it's a good grab just don't expect it to be like BG3.

A fantastic indie fps, for $2, 49, you call that spectacular Falcon What do you think the developers think I think indie games are mostly already cheap and if they do a great job they should be helped! Let this 80% and 90% off for the AA and AAA games, those guys have enough money already.

Over half of these I played and completed using the PS plus a whole bunch more. Really wasn’t sure about the premium package but I’ve not bought a new game for 2 years now and I still have a load of good, new titles to work through. Dredge was great fun too, highly recommend.

Sniper Elite 5 is still $70! WHERE TF ARE YOU LOOKIN AT FALCON I said it last vid, this is AI written isnt it You said cyberpunk 2077 wasnt that bad when it was released when ANYONE that was around for the release knows it was a PILE OF DGSHT at release and EVEN REMOVED IT FROM SALE

most of the game in this list, i got it for free at epic games, also got a few more AAA games like evil within 1 and 2, Calisto, borderlands 1 to 3, fallout 1 to 3, also the newest tom raider games. played most of it, but yeah epic games just gives free random games which cool
reply

really loved inscryption and marvel midnight suns
definitely recommendations
sniper elite 5 was fun but indeed a bit tedious
and skywalker saga was a bit of a letdown because i expected more, it feels rushed through the star wars saga with only 6 levels per episode

I think Hogwarts Legacy is like the most expensive game I ever bought seeing as I bought a PS five just for that game. I think the only reason I didn’t get on today was because I was out of town
Also, I am the person who has both an Xbox series S and a PS5

I would genuinely be so rich if I could wait to play games, but instead I buy them on release. Metaphor was my most recent example (although to be fair atlas still hasn’t lowered the price of p5r so I would have been waiting a while)

GOTG, ghostwire Tokyo, was FREE on epic a little while
back. so it should come around again
sometime here soon. midnight suns was too, maybe some
of the others, but im not aware if they were or didn get them
when/if they were.

Hugely recommend Darktide
It's soooooo fun, I have over a thousand hours in it, and it's still just as fun as starting. And while they may be slow to do things, Fatshark generally supports games for way longer than most devs

reply

Midnight Suns definitely has nothing even remotely close to a visual novel. Idk where that came from. But its definitely great and got super oversahdowed and slept on. Definitely a must for any turned based and Marvel fan.

That’s cool. What about fixing yalls journalist publication on enymios report on cd project red Instead of trying to just resume like nothing had happened. You and Jake ain’t just gonna sweep this under the rug
reply

Game studios treat my money with disdain and want to release a game half baked, so I treat their releases with the same attitude and wait for them to go on sale at $20 or less and with all the patches and DLC.
