as a game developer. we do not add things because we are bored. take the Cyberpunk one for example. that is far from a boredom easter egg. its part of a very elaborate ARG puzzle that spans multiple games and the real world. someone most certainly did not make that just because they were bored

I'm willing to bet Rick The Door Technician was added as a placeholder for an enemy encounter initially, and the dev responsible for it forgot to replace it until someone else on the team found it and loved it, so they all decided to leave it in.

I dont know if this counts but my favorite is basically just the entirety of cod zombies being a dev just pushing it in there he also put a ray gun in one of the WAW missions and almost got fired for it
