Top 30 BEST PC Games of 2023 Nope I m sorry you re wrong. Screw Diablo. Forcing me to play online and basically turning Diablo into an MMO. Every time I try to do side, quests or grind a little, other players already did what I needed to do. So I was just running around collecting experience not actually playing the game. In a list about top games of 2023 why would you pick a game that 90% of the players who bought the game stopped playing within a couple months?

I have no issues with Starfield being ON the list.
I just think it should be lower-tier, considering the amount of caveats it automatically brings with it.
I enjoyed playing it, on a number of levels.
But I also had plenty of negative things to say about it, not the least of which is that when I finished an initial playthrough and about half of a NG+ playthrough. I was just bored.
It's aggressively mediocre, and especially forgettable, in comparison to every other game on this list that I've personally played.
To sidestep a bit. I feel the EXACT same way about Hogwart's Legacy, in pretty much every respect.
Neither of those games is going in my top 10, or maybe even top 20, of the year.
That said. Baldur's Gate as #1 is definitely an easy and accurate choice.
Larian outdid themselves, and I can't say enough good about this title. it's 99% perfect.

The reason Starfield is disliked so heavily by the fans isn't because we're being unfair or because we just want to hate BGS. It's disliked because the writing is utterly lazy, without question the worst writing in any bethesda game bar none. The gunplay feels somehow worse than fallout 4, the world is utterly vapid and devoid of any interesting content to explore, and to top it off the devs responding with braindead takes about how the first astronauts on the moon weren't bored when they weren't playing a damn video game. The engine isn't even in like the top 10 list of biggest problems with the game yet somehow people continue to default to that because they didn't actually put the time in to see what people are saying or play the game themselves. Kind of an L take honestly love you Falcon but you're off with the take here.

I can respect and accept the fact that Starfield isnt the worst game ever, but as a core Bethesda fan Fallout76 was more fun then Starfield. Exploration and world building/world design is so disjointed and feels so bad to partake inn that it doesnt feel like a Bethesda game in Starfield. It feels like 3 unfinished games glued together by loading screens into a decently above average experience. But I wanted that world exploration and world building, and it felt like Starfield had 0 of that. So to me its the biggest disappointment of 2023, not worst game just biggest disappointment. And no amount of Starfield isnt bad because of X arguments will change my mind or make me like the game.

15: 10 If you can get past all the crap - The simple fact that you had to utter that phrase means Diablo 4 was NOT a good game. Rating any game based exclusively on the things you like about it is intellectually dishonest at best.
17: 20 Why does it feel like you're going out of your way to defend a game which is accurately described as 'mostly empty space'? It honestly looks like your trying to justify terrible game companies doing terrible game company things. and giving some subtle stink eye at the gaming community while doing it. Game companies have more money than god. they don't need you to defend them.

sorry but starfield shouldnt be on this list. as they say, wide as an ocean, deep as a puddle. and with starfield thats really the case. a giant universe to explore, yet theres literally nothign to do. sure some will say (like the people that responded to the reviews on the official bethesda steam account) its like real life space and planets! yeah but this is a game. make it fun like it should be. starfield is boring and bland and just a giant watered down skyrim in space. thats it.

So weird question?
I ve heard nothing but good things about Dave the diver and from gameplay to me personally it looks absolutely horrible?
My question is is it something that just looks bad but is actually incredible? Also do you think I would like it if I hate puzzle games, anime, and games without voice acting?
Not about to waste my money just because online said it s amazing I ve made that mistake way too many times

sea of stars was such a disappointment. and its a pity too cause i was so looking forward to it. but you cant even enter in like 99% of the buildings and the world map is just a level select basically. so lazy. i really understand why world maps in jrpgs have gone out of style when the ps2 ear started. we are supposed to move forward (not regress backwards. especially now where AI can help devs and artists so much.

The mortal Kombat story is amazing and this one is no exception imo. its actually insane, the year the games take place seem weird because you have modern shit mixed with ancient tradition due to the Tournament. its not that bad. its actually the modern earth but you have an ancient monk society that knows about the tournament so they keep traditions and keep training to defeat outworld in, Mortal Kombat!

As usual, you guys ocmpletely ignore any strategy games, city builders, 4x games or economic simulators that may have come out last year. You do it every year, and every year somebody points it out to you, and the next year you do it again.
Like, did you know that last year, Cities Skylines 2 came out? Or how about Railway Empire 2? I'm sure there are others that would deserve at least a mention.

i didnt expect robocop to be so much fun, moving around slowly ( since you're robocop) i was kinda worried about it, but the game plays very well, the graphics are great, the recreation of police station is great, and the way they captured the chaos and anarchy in the city is insanely well done, overall a very solid game worth being on the list, im glad you guys agree too!

I enjoyed playing AC Mirage but damn how is it more stiff than the ezio trilogy, you had more freedom in how you moved your character around, even falling gave you freedom to reach for whatever ledge you wanted to grab at. And the old control scheme was much better as well, Y for vision, B for grabbing, X for attack, A for jumping and sprint while holding Rt

Still waiting on a new splinter cell, metal gear that gets back towards the original, ghost recon like wildlands or breakpoint (not that shit they tried with multiplayer that the community shot down) NCAA football (I know why we don t have it. Don t care it was great) a good Superman game maybe. They just don t make the stuff I like anymore. At all.

Starfield is genuinely an awful game, there is --and I am saying this with all sincerity-- nothing in it that has not been done better in other games, and more importantly other Bethesda games. On a list of good games released this year, Starfield absolutely should not be on there, it devalues all of the other entries by associating them with it.

I'll keep saying it over and over the only reason starfield got hate was because it did not come out on Playstation. They have been the most vocal about it and i find it strange that the gaming community ignored issues cause it was Bethesda but as soon as it wasnt on Playstation the bugs/content were no longer able to be ignored

Sad to see D4 and Starfield on here but not Rogue Trader. D4 wasn't up to par with free games developed 5 years ago, and Starfield while it did have some gems in there, for the most part was empty, lifeless and joyless. Phantom Liberty for me at least was amazing start to finish, Starfield was forgotten until this video.

Starfield is exactly what I expected out of a Bethesda game. I enjoyed it for its quirks and general game play. Bethesda should absolutely move on from the Creation engine and change up the formula that every one of their games has, but since they haven't, this is what I expected and I'm fine with it.

Gotta disagree with dead island 2 being on the list, Story somehow managed to get worse, Main characters were awful. Honestly the Graphics were probably the only good thing in the game. Sucks because both Dead Island 2 and Diablo 4 are on my top 3 biggest Disappointment list for 2023 games.

Bg3 is a generational game that will be talked about for years for me. I put it with chrono trigger, kotor, and witcher 3 in terms of how a game can change how certain types of role-playing will be done in the future. It's amazing an one of the best games ever made.

its crazy how many people would not touch some of these games because they didnt have the best of reviews at launch. im happy im not one of them, i try things that look appealing to me and often times there are really good games behind all the hate they get
