The switch is the worst console I purchased & I would never pay anything over 200 for it and at 400 you might as well get a steam deck. I got one for my anniversary & it s the best handheld I own between both my switch & backbone.
Switch just doesn t have the games I want to play. It s more for kids honestly & im not into playing Mario games etc. So to each its own.

I imagine it won't be until the summer until we hear anything official (and in more detail) about the PS5 Pro. This console refresh is pretty intriguing given what is being said about it's supposed capabilities. I also imagine this tech will be very appealing for developers who want to push the limits of the property they make on a console which has the potential of high market saturation like that of it's base cousin: the vanilla PS5.
Wish I could say I am excited about the Metal Gear Solid 3 and Silent Hill 2 remakes, but I remain skeptical. As for a remake of the original Metal Gear Solid, isn't Twin Snakes considered a remake? Speaking of which, I am among the minority who really liked that game.

I'm here for the ride as well, I wasn't aware of the PS5 Pro rumors because it seems like most people kept talking about the Switch 2 for months now while I'm waiting for announcements for new games to come out on the Switch. Also yes Nintendo does have weird names for their consoles, but at least they make sense compared to how Microsoft names all their consoles and at least it's easier to pronounce compared to the Xbox Series X/S. I just want to know who's in charge of naming these consoles in Microsoft because apparently there's the Xbox and the Xbox One comes after that, not Xbox 2 but Xbox One which makes no sense to me.

How about they stop pushing out new consoles for a couple years and focus on actually making a breakthrough. All these normal consoles then slims then pros and other variations just to see a console that doesn't add anything. Switch at least waited several years for a new console where they can actually add something new as parts get smaller and better. Also on the Tetris thing it wasn't the end of the game it was one version of a game breaking. Someone did the map where there are more endings so to speak where you can get higher levels than what he got.

I can t wait for ps5 pro. It will surely improve psvr2 and we won t have reprojection. Native 90/120 fps. I m hoping. That would be worth the purchase, alone. I m not a massive gamer as an adult and vr gaming makes me feel like a child again, in the 90 s. Regular gaming just don t do it for me as much and when inside the game world, like resident evil, it s incredible and so immersive. Much more so then playing on tv.

My issue with the Ps5 Pro is that they never delivered on what they promised us with the regular Ps5. We still don't have real Dolby Atmos and we also don't have 4k 60 Fps. I'm done buying consoles when they want a premium and you don't get what you paid for. I have always been a Console and PC guy but I think I might be done until they actually give us a next gen console worth the money.

Honestly speaking if sony would release the ps5 pro now, it wil mean that people have been screwed with the revised model. And the pro wil make the revised model a money pit and basicly killing off any sales.
Had sony chosen to release then at the same time they could have done something similar to xbox with the series s and x, wich that ship sailed with this choice.

A PS5 Pro needs to be able to run performance and quality modes simultaneously. Maybe some better rtx, but performance with higher resolutions comes first.
As for whatever the Switch 2 is, it needs a bare minimum 60 fps on every game and upscaled 1440p. the 60 fps thing isn't going anywhere, so Ninentendo needs to figure it out. Same with higher resolutions.

I've put off buying a ps5 because it barely had anything of interest outside of Demon Souls and I still have a ps4 backlog and at this point I'm not going to buy one until they release the pro. If they're banking on selling more base model I don't think it's going to happen knowing it'll be obsolete in like a year with the pro.

Couldn't get a ps5 for about 2 years, still dont have one so thebpro is what ill wait for. but im more worried about buying it and a year to 2 later the new console is announced and it would have been pointless to spend the money. Switchb2 i am ready for though, its really showing its age.

Dont know why people are complaining about you guys not talking much about dragon's dogma 2 because Theres a lot of videos out there going in depth and different viewpoint of the game but then again i kinda understand it. Thanks for keeping us updated guys.

If IF, we get more single player PS5 exclusives, I d be interested in consistent 60fps on GTA6 and everything else, and better bluray support so I don t have to get a dedicated device for good movies at home. If Sony only has service ganes, I don t need a PRO.

Why would anyone want a PS5 pro? The ref PS5 has under performed no matter what fan boys think. Guys I have a PS5 and have used it way less then my PC and even Xbox. Consumers need to wake up. I mean buy what you want to. Just seems like a waste.

8: 24 I think that the more people become involved in video games and tournaments, the more will begin to hear about management, and behind-the-scenes players will make everything work. Too much money for individual not to get attention at this point.

Yo hats off to that 13 year old Legend. I think a company should put him in there game as a cool Easter egg. That's pretty big to be the first one to beat Tetris. I didn't know you could beat that game. We play til we lose enough then stop.

Thanks for catching me up with everything within my work break Happy new year! I dont mind Remakes as along as its made of Quality and with enough time in between i dont need a ps4 game remastered i need Metal gear solid 1 in 4K
