XBOX EXCLUSIVES COMING TO PS5, AC RED IN 2024 & MORE So basically all the exclusive games from Xbox and new games that were scheduled to be released on Xbox will be going to PS5 My other concern was if the current games that I have on Xbox (I have the X box one s) will disappear or still be there And I searched and read online that that wasn't so, all the games that I have will be there. I have a bunch of hours on some games so I just don't want everything that's going on to have an effect on all the hours I put in. I was actually considering buying the x series but with this news I'll be getting a PS5. What I like about the PS5 is that they have physical games that I can own since Ubisoft doesn't want any of its players to own anything.

As an Xbox gamer of over 15 years with a gamerscore currently at 259, 223, I couldn't care less if Xbox games become available on other platforms.
Exclusivity has NEVER been for the gamers! It ONLY serves the company while punishing the gamer for the consoles they don't buy (or can't afford.
In 15 years, no amount of exclusives has ever convinced me to buy a PlayStation. Why Because I prefer the Xbox controller and Trophies will always be a cheap, inferior imitation of Achievements. I understand other people have different motivations and need to feel like they are members of an elite club that others can't enter, but that's just childish to me. Let the gamers game. If a game is truly great then restricting who can play it does that game a huge disservice. I heard The Last Of Us is awesome, but because of corporate greed I'll just never know. They could have my money if they would put it on Xbox, but I have never lost a wink of sleep over it. So props to Xbox for once again being the first one to try to unite gamers rather than divide them.

Apparently that Hellskate-game has some of the actual Tony Hawk Skater developers on it. - Unfortunately, upon trying it, it doesn't feel that good. It controls like ass and just doesn't click for me. - They did something weird with the directions, as you don't steer the board left and right, but it goes the way you push the stick as if you're walking. So its like they want to make an action-game on a board, but you're not really skateboarding, you're just pushing the character around like it's always on-foot, which doesn't make sense and is confusing.

Not too surprised tbh, gamepass killed xbox.
They obviously hit a plateau with gamepass. They expected to have a rapid increase in people subscribing to game rentals through gamepass. It didn't happen.
Most people that rented games on gamepass didn't buy them. The purchase of bethesda started squeezing the profit margins and Activision sealed the deal to end it. v there wasn't enough users to pay for the development of new games on a restricted platform.
I wish xbox just tried harder to compete like ps3 did when it was behind with better games

Microcrap will probably do medialess releases on playstation which is trash. Do you remember when the online game store for the older consoles that had an online part like the wii Another reason just to unlock ones consoles. I call root and CrApple fanbois call it jailbrake. I want consoles to still support physical releases. Hey Jake the noise you hear and are annoyed with it exactly how I feel with your before you buy video. I want to be nice, but not take a stance here. Yeah your starfield vid was bad.

The big companies make the bulk of their profits from game sales. Game development is getting more expensive and players are hitting a price ceiling of what they're willing to pay. The only logical decision is to open up your games to a broader market. It's also been rumored for a long time that World of Warcraft is getting full controller support. Maybe Microsoft is going to try and inject some life into the flagging player base. It's a cash juggernaut that they just paid a ton of money for.

I'm excited about Xbox games coming to thr PS5 since I'm a PS5 owner. At thr same time, I'm terrified of the idea that Sony might have no competition and start offering evern worse prices and services (since they increased the price of PS Plus things have been getting worse.
Playing a lot of things this weekend, Yakiza 0 and Prince of Persia, with a few runs of Monster Train, Roboquest, Gunfire Reborn, CS2 and Dead Cells.
Great video! Thanks, Jake, Andy & gameranx!

As an X box player and fan, I think I understand what Xbox is trying to do by making more money off games across consoles. but the million dollar question is, would the consoles still exist. We can't go back to one console dominating and creating a monopoly on game consoles. X box gave us a choice. If that choice is removed, then gaming consoles wouldn't make any sense anymore. Prices of a one console system would skyrocket. Except you are a PC gamer.

I've always said Xbox exclusive can't work as long as they also put them on PC. That's not real exclusive - anyone with a decent or good PC can get those games without getting an Xbox. If those games were truly exclusive on Xbox, I'd had already bought one. I bought PS Vita, 3DS and Switch just to play one or two games because I can't get those games ANYWHERE ELSE. That's how exclusive works. It's just wild to me how the people at Xbox never gets it.

So I've been playing Nobody Saves the World on PS4, it was one of the free PS games last month I think it's a pretty good hack and slash RPG You get a bunch of different forms that you have to master and you can mix and match different forms with different abilities from the other forms which I think is pretty unique I don't play too many hacking slash RPGs but this one I'm definitely enjoying

Xbox news is crazy. I am a PlayStation fanboy but it would be pretty depressing if Xbox left the race especially with Nintendo. However, if Xbox just focused on PC level stuff I would be okay with that. Most people are playing Xbox games on PC now as it is. They also are Microsoft so that would make sense. They don’t need a box to compete with the other boxes I wonder what the future holds for them.

Disney is doing well in gaming with the Kingdom Hearts series, the Star Wars Jedi series, Star Wars Outlaws, the upcoming Wolverine game, the new Indiana Jones game, and even more upcoming Star Wars games (there are too many, which I can't remember. The investment in Epic Games is purely a money move for Fortnite and casual games; I wouldn't expect several AAA games to come out of that.

It would not surprise me if for the ActivitionBlizzard merger to be even remotely approved, Microsoft is required to forfeit ALL exclusive titles to allow customers to choose their chosen ecosystem of choice,
That is to say now Xbox no longer has any exclusive titles, my next console besides the PC will be a SONY device,
Why would ANYONE buy an Xbox now!

Playing Dragon Age: Origins this weekend. Not because the 4th one is coming out soon, but because it looks like the dread wolf will be even bigger departure from the original than Inquisition.
Call me old, but you can't deny DA Origins was unique and varied, compared to the generic and shallow Inquisition. Meh. just ranting here. move along.

If Starfield hadn’t flopped there probably would have been Christmas sales of series x. That might have made a difference. MicroSOFT ware. This console was a passion project for developers. ROI is all that matters to MS now and they have decided to give up on consoles, focus on software sales. It’s what they know is profitable.

Playing Tekken 8 and Tinykin.
About Microsoft: it makes sense for them to release their games on other consoles, especially if they’re losing console wars in terms of console sales. Why not grab the money on other consoles
About TLOU3: I’m so glad it won’t be a spin off! Ellie’s journey must come to a satisfying conclusion.

This is actually funny cause i remember when starfield was getting ready to drop, all the xbox fanbois were screaming that this finna b the best game ever and anyone that bought a PS is a clown. Now its anyone who bought a xbox is a clown since all the games are gonna be on PS and PC so at this point you should really only have a PC or PS
reply

if xbox makes their exclusives for ps5 it would essentially be a monopoly and therefore playstations game quality will go down with it because they dont have to focus on beating the competition and being market leader and that would be even higher prices and even lower quantity and quality, its simple economics

You know. different to what people say. I aplaude Mocosof, for given freedom to their games, I don't really care if you like PS or XBOX or PC, I care if you have the game to meet you there. you know.
By the way, I were playing GTA5 maybe GTA4, because I don't have a newest PC, so is what I can play.

Ultimately it feels like it'll be bad for gaming as Sony will have no reason to innovate and keep most things (hardware/games) at reasonable prices. Nintendo and Sony serve two completely different customer types. No competition on the AAA/Adult gaming will probably cause Sony to stagnate and rot.
