Game has been an absolutely blast to play for me. Luckily i never experienced any of the issues from some of the negative reviews, except a single crash the first time i launched the game after preloading it. Performance has been good, co op has been flawless. Just a really fun experience. I am however on the same fence as you, not knowing if this is going to be a quick burn game or something i'm hooked on for a long time. That will depend on what the devs add moving forward. I'm interested to see how opening up more planets once they have been brought sweet sweet justice goes. The meter that fills from all the divers playing and winning missions on them appear to unlock the next sector of the star map.

This game is one of the best online experiences I've ever had. Yes, making an online Live Service game that doesn't matchmake because of quick play issues shouldn't be a thing. At. All. Even though all online releases are rough at the start but it shouldn't happen. This being said, this game is something special, the mini games are vast and interesting, battling the Bots is insanely difficult, bugs are super fun and the AI is awesome, progression is awesome, you can get everything in the game by playing it if you don't want to spend money on it, the guns feedback and orbital strikes etc is insane. Also, dying in this game is always funny. I hope the review bombs won't wreck it. \m/

A lot of people are complaining about matchmaking and that somehow led to them refunding the game. BUT HEY! More fun for the people who want to experience the game. (18 hours into the game so far) solo bolo is pretty fun too, more planning required

This game looks boring as hell and you say it's fun. The Suicide Squad had loud explosions, different and upgradable guns/weapons and you crap all over it. This game looks super repetitive but you love it. Yeah some parts of SSKTJL are repetitive but at least you can approach with a different character. I'm guessing you probably got this copy for free and had to pay for SS, that affected your opinion too. Not a good way to start the year man, I have had a lot of faith in your reviews but now. Something is off with it.

Game definitely has more than a few kinks that need to be worked out but my god, this game is nothing like anything I've played recently. It's so damn fun to play. Brings me back to games like Mercenaries & EDF. You can clearly see the passion that was put into the project. And it's only $40 dollars. It's pure insanity. These devs deserve every ounce of praise they get. As of right now, it's on my GOTY list for sure.
Edit: Let's not even talk about the ICBM. I won't spoil it. Just go play it. Do it now.

The warbonds are the way this game levels you, the more missions you do the more mats you'll find (Grind yes) but instead of geting auto unlocks you get to choose your play style with what you Purchace first. also it is made to be a grind, you can collect the bought curency by playing the matches, and there for don't have to actualy spend real live dollars. they have also said that stat wise everything in the leet WB can be gotten from the Free WB so it isn't P2W

I really want this game. Sadly i can't spend money on 4 or 5 games a month, and I also want skull and bones. I hope this game gets solid updates, and I can grab it later even if full priced. I'm all for paying for games done right. Remnant, risk of rain, any in detail story games, you have to love them even if they dont have super replayability. Skull and bones has a live demo right now, had an absolute BLAST playing it haha pun intended

To be fair, the paid battle pass isnt really only for people who pay. There are super credits (the real money currency) laying around in some missions. While its not that much and you will have to play more then who ever uses their credit card, but since the currency otherwise can just buy some armors that have the same modifiers as the one in the free pass, you might as well save up.

Noted from playing with others, the game never explains it. but holding down Square [Reload] gives options for your current weapon, such as adjusting firing speed (very useful for the LMGs) or semi/burst/auto, zoom distance with scopes, flashlight, etc.
And those shipping containers dug into the ground. throwing a grenade at them opens them up yielding credits and medals!

Looks cool but not only does it cost 40 bucks, it also has microtransactions on top of it. The fun factor seems entirely dependent on whether I can convince my friends to buy this game because it is worthless as a single player experience. If it was f2p and had a campaign story like Destiny 2 then I'd have gladly played it. A shame that sony decided to be greedy.

Playing on PS5, It's fun I do recommend (BUY IT, glitches and bugs, are not fatal, and matchmaking seems to be getting better
On ps5 you just need to set a mission set it on public and crossplay, the open and close the social tray (R3) like for 3 seconds, and people start joining, if nothing happens (change to private session then to public again)

The currencies for the premium warbonds (super credits) can be earned in very small amounts 10 on pickup and I've only found 1 pickup per mission, which means if you find every one (assuming 1 per mission) it's 100 missions for it, so yes it sucks but if you're gonna be playing a lot, you will eventually get it for free

Also very important, you can purchase the Premium Battle Pass with Super Credits that you also earn in missions, I've played 2 days and I'm already at 450, the Premium BP is 1000. So If they keep this up, it's SUPER fair. And I'm also someone that despises Micro-Transactions in games.

I love the fact you use fighting game inputs for interacting with the environment and calling in ordnance, such a neat idea, makes the fights more tense. Most games just have you sit there and hold square. Overall looks like a cool sandbox with lots of toys, think I’m sold

4: 22 if you hold the reload button while carrying weapons you can be able to change the fire rate to burst or semi auto, the sight zoom, or the lazer sight. This doesn’t work for every weapon because some won’t make sense but this is great for changing them a little bit

Fun fact sec objectives guve you additional benefit for current dive. Example artillery fill it with 5 rounds and you will have additional art support with those same 5 rounds. You filled it with 2 mini nukes and 3 explosive rounds and you have hive buster at command.

DO not recommend. When I tried to install it, my antivirus warned me about some fishy software the game is trying to install on my PC. The game then won't even start. Steam has some problem even getting me to refund request! Get Starship troopers Extermination instead.

The movement and gunplay really remind me of MGSV, and in my opinion that game has some of the smoothest gameplay. It really fits this game. Also the comments being shouted in-game make me think of the Carmines from Gears of War, it really adds magic to the game

The game is absolutely amazing and its such an improvement than the first game, im glad it beat the review bombing.
The only thing i wish the game had was a skill tree and weapon tuning. It would hahe built upon the first game while keeping its integrity.
