An interesting CC version of the Duke of Bows lot - someone somewhere (maybe Mod the Sims? I don't recall where I DL'd it) made a Duke of Bows Festival Lot for Seasons. I installed it on a larger lot and added a whole stack of more of the larger seasonal installations, like the Spooky House, skate arenas, snowboarding half-pipe. Working thorugh furnishing a festival lot is a bit of work that involves getting the festival marker and switching seasons to place seasonally significant things.
The dragons, I like the green ones, because I love gardening and it's harvesting ability is really handy, though still not quite as handy as a Robotany Gardener chipped Plumbot. I do however think they did put some dragon eggs in the graveyard. Or did I do that when I was placing Llama booths? I can't recall.

To be honest I purchased the bundle for this neighborhood in the good old days of bundles (I guess sims 4 killed that so you can only buy sim points via origin now) for the violin and dragons and now I never use either. honestly I didn't use them even after I got them after a few hours. I thought it would be fun and awesome but I didn't utilize them a lot. I haven't switched over to sims 4, but even now I kind of regret purchasing this one instead of midnight hollow, but seeing it I'm sort of eh about that one too. The dragons were cool and so were the violins but I only played the neighborhood once.

I finally got to download (illegally but anyway) this town. It wasn't bad, although I wasn't exactly happy with it. It could have been better if it actually worked as a medieval town and not as a modern city. For example, it should have medieval professions and in general a specific gameplay style made for this city. I know sims medieval exists but why did you exactly create this world for sims 3, since it works like a modern city?

I saw this boxed in-store at Walmart a year or two ago. I decided against getting it, though. At that point I was just so sick of the cash-grabbing from EA and I knew it wouldn't be worth the asking price.
I've seen so little in the expansion packs that has actual substance. Supernatural was great for me, but once you've played through all of the life states a little, you've seen just about everything.

I fell for buying this from my local EB Games as I thought it was an expansion, being in a DVD case and all. Was seriously disappointed when I got home and found just a code on a card. Was even more disappointed when I found out it wasn't the 'premium' version. I never felt more cheated.
I pirated all of the Sims Store stuff after that. Given how terrible quality it usually is it felt justified.

This world is definitely overpriced, and let me down on the -Dragon- aspect, but it looks nice in my opinion, and if I switch the existing households with ones of my own making (and usually the occult from Supernatural) it works pretty well. I typically build my own house in that lot right by the city hall, and with it being so big and right next to everything, it makes for a good legacy lot.

I'd like a dragons game pack. Adult dragons occasionally swooping in to eat sims. Ability to steal eggs by hiking to nests. Barter or buy eggs, raise dragons with almost as many interactions as say child sims. When dragons become adults they can become protectors of the sim family and you can unlock mountain top lots in their grounds!

I hate to say anything bad about the sims 3 because it's given me thousands of hours of enjoyment and I still play it to this day, but the cost of these worlds is so bizarre. I would think, If they sold these at a reasonable price, they'd make way more money than charging what they charge for these worlds.

I was so disappointed with the dragons when I got this pack. What's the point of having a dragon if it's not going to burn my house down? I liked the addition of -powers- each dragon has, but definitely not loving how they're basically just objects sitting in your inventory when you're not using them.
