Tag along with me as I go out thrifting, in search of games and interesting goodies at local shops! Five Goodwill stores in this inaugural episode Feeling: Back in 2000, the goodwill clearance outlets were goldmines. I started noticing the trash in the big blue bins ( back then they still had huge grey blue wooden tables ) when my local goodwill opened a distribution warehouse back in 2004. Instead of great items being brought to the clearance store directly. They had - employees - sort out the merchandise at the distribution center and they would decide what would go back to the retail stores and the clearance store. Guess what? those - employees - at the distribution center kept sending junk piles to the clearance store. I guess the prime stuff, there still was prime stuff being donated in 2004 to 2010, went to the - employees cars - errr, retail stores. Back in 2001 I found a slot a athlon 900mhz tower with 20 and 10 gb hard drives, a zip and floppy in it and cd burner drive on it with a cd rom drive too! for 8. 99. I was in line for the electronics room doors to open ( everyday they would do this and those early years people ran to get in line, the later years of the electrical room, 2005 and on, the distribution warehouse affected this rooms contents as junk electronics, now mixed with old smelly shoes were being dumped on those room tables now ), I was third from front of line of waiting people and some lady behind me cut in front of me, as soon as the doors opened, I took one long fast step in front of her and got ahead of her an into the room. You should have seen me look at that tower as it was laying on a table on top of a old suitcase.

So they won't sell floppy disks but they will sell used hard drives? Someone would be more likely to get useful information from one of the hard drives unless they do the DoD zeroing on them. I would say at least for the floppies they should at least sell the ones that are games or programs. Random data disks, yeah fine throw them away.

kinect adventures - lol / I have like 8 of those. We have a good outlet here with a computer store attached so ALL the computer stuff goes to that store alone. I get nice finds there like apple 2e's, tandys, and an H89, and yesterday a 5170 IBM AT in mint condition but with the FRIGGIN HD REMOVED - BASTARDS! Still not bad for $60.

Back to watch again. I-m going through a really hard time of depression and intense loneliness. I-m worried I-m going to do something drastic. These videos have always calmed me and I-m hoping they get my mind off of my life for a short bit. Thank you LGR for these and all your other great videos.

I just discovered this playlist thanks to the algorithm. I'm hooked. Binge watching in reverse order. most of the UK is now one big goodwill, but we don't have anything like the size of these stores. Man, awesome. So jealous of that vic printer find. Thanks for keeping me entertained -

that snes for $20 was a good deal, you could of doubled your money on ebay for sure. You could of took a sticker off another item, and place it over thee other. I've done that many times and got stuff for real cheap. Though i don't do it often, I have done this a few times.

I should shoot some footage to lure you out to NJ. You'd be in heaven at the weekly flea market at Giants stadium. There's mountains of old computers, audio equipment, calculators, and plenty of stuff I see and think would make good oddware fodder.

If you ever have a Google Sheets of your collection, like your PC games, console/handheld games, consoles/handheld, your records/cds and your movies like laserdiscs, blu-rays, dvds, vhs, and vcd etc. that would be awesome

I bought a couch in good shape at Goodwill once. Over a year later when I was trying to find my TV Remote, I cut the bottom out. Inside was a blue foldable Gameboy Advance. Some poor kid lost that once upon a time
