This company also has a few other games that I've played (namely Post Master which I've reviewed) and they seem to really lack replay value. Idk if it is because of budget constraints or what, but this company has released a number of games already. If they focus on just releasing one game with a bigger budget and a more focused team, they can revive the Tycoon genre.

Sandbox doesn't mean unlimited funds. That's called cheats or god mode. Or do you mean all these sandbox-games out there should have unlimited everything right at the beginning? Minecraft for example is a sandbox game. No comments for Water Park Tycoon tho. Seems like it sucks big time: )

I was seriously expecting a Bob Marley song to kick up when the intro started. but darn it lol. Anyways, great review: D Could never really find myself playing those tycoon games. Especially zoo tycoon. I just end up releasing the animals on the people every time.

It's funny, because it is an Astragon game
Here in Germany Astragon is kinda infamous for making sub-par simulations that just aren't fun. I don't know how much of their junk actually gets an international release, but this is actually one of their better games.

you should do mall tycoon. I had it but I could never play long coz some beep sound kept starting on any computer I would play it on and the long ongoing beep noise only got louder and louder until you forced shutdown the game.

I can't believe this came out this year: s It looks ancient, even for something -indie-, and barely functional. Games that bear the -Tycoon- moniker surely have the best and the worst that gaming has to offer.

This seems like one of those games you'd find preinstalled on a computer.
The joys of OEM software. (on a side note, I actually first played Spore because the demo came installed on my laptop)

Hmm, I just bought this game today because i thought WHAT THE HELL, I FEEL LIKE A SIM GAME. I hope its not extremely terrible. Should I have got Zoo Tycoon 2 gold edition instead?
