The Ending Of The Last Jedi Explained Win: Phasma needs to return burned and scarred, hunting Finn for revenge. Snoke must return, and be revealed as Darth Plageius. Rey must be trained by Force-ghost Luke, with special Force-ghost appearances by Yoda and Obi-Wan. Kylo must be visited by his grandfather, as Anakin Skywalker, not Vader, and must berate Ben for betraying his uncle and the Jedi, only for Kylo to reject him and fully commit to becoming a Sith, at which point he is visited by the Sith-ghost of Palpatine!
Speaking of Boba Fett, I would love to see SW officially bring him back, and confirm that he did indeed escape the Sarlacc and he has been hiding out in the Outer Rim, which would lead into a stand alone Boba Fett movie!
And finally, Rey's parentage as revealed by Kylo must be proven to be phony, and her true parents must be shown. Maybe a flashback to TFA with Han and Maz talking. In fact, I'd love to find out that Finn is actually Lando Calrissian's son, which would hopefully mean Billy Dee Williams would be in Episode IX!

Even though Luke appeared to die in The Last Jedi (which I think is a bunch of CRAP) he will be stronger than ever due to the fact that when Obi wan told Darth Vader If you strike me down I will be more powerful than you can imagine! Luke is a big part of the force he will return in some form be it a force ghost or something more. Wow they killed Han Solo in The Force Awakens and now Luke in The Last Jedi? What the hell are they thinking! Without our major characters it won't be the same! If Snoke returns and not Luke then they really messed up a good thing! COME ON WHY DID THEY DO IT THIS WAY? I knew Luke would probably die too but for crying out loud why didn't they wait until the final part of this trilogy! I have always LOVED STAR WARS! I am just devastated that they did it this way. I like Rey, Finn, Poe, and even Kylo Ren (he is very confused and misunderstood) I hope Rey can turn Kylo back to the light side of the force and they end up together! Come on Disney please don't mess this last movie up. If the First Order takes over it will be an insult to all the trilogy's before this one! PLEASE BRING LUKE BACK EVEN AS A FORCE GHOST! WHAT ABOUT CHEWBACCA WILL HE SURVIVE? FROM A TRUE AND LOYAL FAN OF STAR WARS PLEASE DON'T MESS THIS UP AND MAKE IT A GOOD END TOO THIS TRILOGY! I HAVENT SEEN THE LAST JEDI YET BUT AFTER EVERYTHING I HAVE SEEN ON YOU TUBE AND GOOGLE I DEFINITELY CANT WAIT TOO SEE IT! # TRUE FAN (LUKE, LEIA, HAN, AND CHEWBACCA FOREVER) THE ONLY GOOD THING THAT CAME OUT OF LUKE DYING CAN FINALLY BE WITH HIS BELOVED WIFE MARA JADE!

Fanboys are the real problem for SW.
In the prequels, they backlashed so hard Jar Jar that Lucas basically removed him from the second (substituted by an unknown-unknown sith lord like count Dooku) and third movie plot points, while he was meant to be the Sith PuppetMaster.
It would have been a glorious plot twist, a thing to be remembered, and instead it finished in a shit like this, with Jar Jar basically stuck to be the lamest character in the SW history, condemned by those angry fanboys and also by by a lily-livered Lucas, that evidently was not bold enough to hold the course risking a diminished cash return.
It seems instead that the Disney producers are of a different dough, and are bold enough to shrug off the protesters. On the other hand, TLJ has grossed 1. 3 millions worldwide, nowhere near a failure.
I also think that Solo will be a good movie, as soon as the fanboys cease to insist an actor to have tha same face of the previous one.

This was an objectively horrible film. You can judge it by it's validity in the Star Wars legacy (it seriously destroys the Star Wars legacy in so many ways) or you can judge it by its viability as a solo (no pun intended) sci fi film. In both cases, it was an utter failure and a hilariously revealing litmus test for the Star Wars fan base. This movie ended my fandom of anything Star Wars. Mark Hamill's reprisal of the most iconic character in science fiction feels almost like a betrayal and I wish I hadn't even witnessed it. I'll willingly step into the role of 1st world whiny internet millennial to say that this film encroached on what was a significant part of my childhood and the fictional role models to which I aspired in fantasy and sci fi. I know you wanted this movie to be amazing and I'm sorry that it wasn't, but let's at least all stop lying to ourselves about the Emperor's new clothes, yeah?

Man, Rian Johnson really tore down a lot of what JJ Abrams was building up. This is like the cinematic version of taking a dump in a bag, lighting it on fire, and putting it on his doorstep.
The intrigue about Rey's parents? Nope, junkies, lol.
Luke Skywalker - the whole damn point of the Force Awakens and cultural icon? A grumpy old man who doesn't want to do shit and ultimately gets shot at a bunch, disses Kylo and vanishes.
The mysterious and malevolent Supreme Leader Snoke? Bit character who gets cut in half without revealing anything.
Romantic tension between Rey and Finn? Nah brah, have a portly (and admittedly cute and charming) asian chick instead.
At least the battles were pretty epic. But all in all, I came away feeling like Rian just gave JJ a big middle finger. Can't wait to see how he digs himself out of this one.

Any thoughts on the idea that Han Solo is not father to Kylo Ren? Perhaps Ben Skywalker is the son of Luke Skywalker and was hidden from this by being placed with Han and Leia?
It fits with the whole father secrecy theme of Star Wars. Kylo Ren would have been driven deep into the dark side had he killed his actual father, he seems too undecided and in conflict with himself and his emotions. Does this actually make him balanced instead of struggling between the light and dark sides? Kill me and I will be with you forever, like your father. See you around kid.
Furthermore, maybe Han and Leia are the actual parents of Rey. This would give further relevance to the Millennium Falcon being on Jakku where Rey was left. Han and Leia seem to have an unspoken knowledge of Rey based on their interactions in the films.

I like how the kid with the broom shows you don't have to be special to use the force, like in the old films and what I think is so awesome is training or learning is no longer necessary to obtain a skill or power, kind of like how you can just download anything you need in the Matrix.
There are so many bold and exciting places Star Wars can go now. It's awesome.
We can have younglings now, not even know what the force is or ever even seeing a lightsaber before, now they could defeat the most powerful Jedi in the universe if they really want to.
That's such an important message to kids as well as giving new life to the tired cliche of having been born special. Now everyone can be special.
I really like the new direction Star Wars is heading and the wonderful message it sends to the kids.

Rey obviously doesn't need any help at all apparently. She seems to be good at everything with absolutely no training whatsoever. She pulled off the Jedi mind trick in the force awakens and she didn't even know it was a thing. She had never seen it done before, and just 20 minutes before that, she thought the Jedi was a myth. In The Last Jedi, she spent 3/4 of the movie bringing Luke to train her, then she leaves the island with no training at all, aside from a couple of force visions and breathing exercises taught by Luke. she then headed to snoke and successfully fought off the praetorian guards. so why the hell would she need Luke's Force ghost to help her? Mary Sue is awesome at everything. For no reason at all.

I thought the start was a star wars fan film or a joke, which i suppose it was looking back! just like a little bart simpson prank call to mo's tavern ahhhh! silly star destroyer receptionist. Like most I'm a fan of the originals and not big on 1-3 due to a high level of panto style acting, my little green friend. I thought the first of these three and the star wars story were pretty damn good and we might be on the up again! but then this! star wars needs to do us all a favour and grow a fringe, to hide away its ugly new face! to sum up, mortified.
