This movie was great, I find my negative reviews to be largely hypocritical when comparing to the originals. Or flat out wrong, which I see is primarily because people tend to be so butthurt that they refuse to see what was actually good in the film. Things like, There is no character development! Its so un-original! ect. When the whole movie had characters developing. A. Ton. It may not have been what you wanted to see, ships being on the run for so long. But it was definitely original from the others in the franchise. Now an honest criticism from me. I wasn't a fan of rose, I thought Finn and her didn't have a ton of chemistry. But I may also be biased because I think Rose is not a pretty woman. And that Finn wouldn't be romantically attracted to her. Although that could just be me.

They should have skipped the Canto Bight sequence and just had Rose be the hacker. That way they could go onto the Supremacy and Phasma would get more screen time. Then Finn could go off and fight her. That would've made it better in my opinion. I didn't mind the Canto Bight sequence. Just thought this would be cooler unless they do something in Episode XI that ties it all together. Loved the movie though!

I don't like Rose. I really hated her character. I also do not like Rose and Finn together. Rey and Finn are perfect as friends, and it would be super refreshing for Rey not to have a love story (although I kinda think that Poe and Rey are going to end up together. I think the Bromance between Poe and Finn is great as well!

A lot of the characters' motivations and ideas in this movie don't really make sense to me. Or at least don't seem to align with what has been happening and the way characters have been behaving and the ideals they had in past Star Wars movies. Last Jedi just feels a bit off in the Star Wars movies so far. However, as a movie on its own I liked it.

Also in this video you speak of bromance. does that mean this movie may have or eventually will offer something for ther LGBT community? if it does I have nothing against them, but I will not want to watch star wars after the first 6 because this trilogy will change what star wars really is about. it already feels this way. am I wrong?

So let me get this straight. They cut out the actual character development scenes and interesting scenes. But left in all the filler and themes that lead to nowhere and made the film much longer than it should and worse.
Also nice going Looper, how much did Katherine Kennedy and Disney pay you to praise this mess of a movie?

One scene that was cut is the one where Rey performs life saving brain surgery on a child, while she runs a marathon for charity, kills two hundred stormtroopers, and defeats twelve Sith lords in a light sabre duel. And she didn't need any training to do this stuff because she was simply born awesome

Oh hell yeah Phasma should have mowed down any trooper thinking of leaving. Just like she should have mowed down the fing janitor who for some reason has intimate knowledge of every facility and star ship the first order possess. Don't they have droids to clean shit!

Did anyone else notice that in the force awakens captain Phasma was held captive by blasters and forced to take down the shields then in the last Jedi we find out that blaster fire deflects off her armour making her almost invincible to blaster fire. Good job guys
