Actors Who've Slammed Marvel
video description
But the problem becomes obvious when companies make artificial changes (streamline) their movies. If you make a movie, or art in general, you just do what you envision. If you end up looking at your audience/potential audience first and try to somehow glue something together that appeals as many people as possible you no longer create art but some ultra shallow, soulless and blend garbage.
This is not just a problem with the movie industry nowadays. As creativity and vision of something comes 2nd after potential sale statistics and how to make the most money of a product hat has not even been created. That is like building a house starting with the 2nd floor (streamlining for maximum profit) without even having started to work on the 1st floor (the creative idea/storyline.

Studios making content to appeal to the masses and shareholders isnt something new.
Right now its Superhero movies. previously it was ACTION MOVIES BIG EXPLOSIONS. PREVIOUSLY IT WAS TEEN MOVIES.
There are alot of artistic movies with deep messages but there are tons of just fun movies as well. Pinpointing it as superhero movies being the cause just goes to show that Simon Pegg & Jodie Foster have no clue what theyre talking about.
And idk, for comicbook fans like us, these are exciting times! Especially when you think about how bad some of the previous movies were. cough Batman & Robin cough
Chloe Bennett is right! The netflix shows and Agents acknowledge what happened in the movies. why cant it work the other way around? Dont get me wrong. i got bored with Agents after S4 & outside of S2 of Luke Cage, i havent watched past the 1st S of the netflix shows.

The reason why Agents of Shield don't get recognized is the same reason why Daredevil, Iron Fist, Jessica Jones, Punisher, and Luke Cage don't get noticed. Why doesn't or should I say didn't now because everything except Agents of Shield is cancelled recognize those shows?
I doubt that no one told him about the make up it's in the contracts. Your agent is to fail on that for him. As for Mamoa, it's not him that should be on here it's the fans that requested it you said so yourself Looper narrator chick. Shit on the fans vs on Mamoa.

Acting in a Marvel movie is a good way to get paid. A LOT. I guess people who slam Marvel movies object to getting paid a lot. I remember when you couldn't get a live action superhero movie made to save your life. I guess that has changed, and the legacy of action movies in the late 1970s, the 1980s, and the 1990s is one reason why. Besides, what sane person wants to go and see a movie that makes you feel bad? No Marvel movie has ever left an exciting audience member feeling horrible. These are big stories about big things.

Avenger's Infinity War was a steaming pile of sloppily written dreck, and is for people who obviously do not think deeply or thoroughly about anything. If They did, they would have realized just how utterly idiotic and absurd Thanos and his moronic motivation and plan was. Most of the MCU movies are clearly marketed for young, immature children and adolescents who do not have the attention span to see much more than the fancy looking cgi effects and spectacle!

So, according to the title: Agents of Shield. The nameless agents that are pseudo-big fish in their small ponds are curious as to why the movies don't take the T. V. shows into account. When was the last time Shield dealt with a problem in Hell's Kitchen. Same universe, right. With all the poorly executed tropes happening in AoS, the gang could use some help defending people. I have enjoyed the Netflix series more than the other T. V. shows.

Marvel movies are more violent than Mel Gibson movies? The only super violent scenes in Marvel movies are in Winter Soldier and maybe Guardians 2 with the arrow massacre lol. But literally almost every single Mel Gibson film is insanely violent and the characters are usually awful lol. If he doesnt care about the Marvel characters then he must just not have been paying attention to their arcs because theyre mostly great

simon pegg said movies should take you on an emotional journey, let's look at his most popular film, shaun of the dead. EVERY emotional obstacle shaun faces, he shrugs off, including losing his love and BEST FRIEND and the movie ends almost LITERALLY where it starts with him and his now zombie friend playing video games like nothing happened. tell me more about emotional journeys while iron man and thor suffer from ptsd lmfao

Mel Gibson is trashing the MCU but, he has either acted or directed Brave Heart, We Were Soldiers, Hacksaw Ridge, The Patriot, Lethal Weapon and Expendables 3. All of those movies are more violent than any of the MCU movies, you know why. Cause whenever I see an MCU movie, the audience has anything from little kids to adults. Mel Gibson movies just adults. Mel Gibson is s great actor and director but, he is wrong the MCU

Marvel movies are more violent than anything Gibson has done! What? Mel, have you watched anything youve done? How about slaughtering soldiers with a tomahawk in front of your children in the first 20mins of Patriot?
The lethal weapon series while classic action films teach young aspiring police officers its ok to disobey authority as long as you kill the bad guy.
Its time to sit down Mel. Have a snickers bar.
