James: Another thing people overlook is that the film takes place over Halloween which is Scorpio season, Scorpio is all about bringing darkness to light in a Jungian sort of way. This explains why the characters wake up from their nightmares at the end of the film in which their shadow side is dealt with by their subconscious.
