I wouldve also included Reggie Mantle, Kevin Keller, and Cheryl Blossom. Reasons why I chose these characters though. Jughead is my personal favorite because he is someone I can relate to. Not the whole dad who gets drunk and lives in a trailer, but the weird side of him and the writing. Also Serpent King, so yeah. Sweet Pea is next because is very tough and loyal, all around great character. Fangs is less loyal but can still be tough if he needs to be. Fred Andrews because is was such a great character and he was always trying to help out (Miss you Luke Perry. Archie because he is always looking to follow in his fathers footsteps and trying to improve Riverdale. Veronica because she is very loyal and smart. Also is strong when she has to be. Toni because she is a very interesting character. A former Serpent who started her own gang and is gay. Very compelling. FP because he was willing to turn his life around to get his family back and did a great job at it. Also, former Serpent King. If you havent already figured it out, Im a huge Serpent fan. Betty is farther down because I honestly dont get her. She is smart and loyal, but is also dark at times, which I dont like. Alice is #10 because I wasnt a fan of her at first, but she has definitely become a better person as the show has gone on. Honorable mentions. Vegas because he is a dog and is very awesome. Jellybean because she has been proven to be smart and resourceful (Penny situation at the junkyard. Hiram because I like the mobster kind of character. All though after Season 4, he grown to become one of my favorites. Again, this is my personal list, so dont hate too much.

Why did everyone dislike Archie. His character requires multidimensional traits and he worked really hard in this show than everyone literally. His character's willingness to protect his friends and the town of Riverdale adds depth to the show's storyline. Every character in this show has darkness bcz of their own reasons. But Archie always stepped into darkness not for him its for his loved ones. Respect Kj for his hardwork

I'm sorry to all the sprouse heads out there but jughead to me at least wasn't very interesting of likeable it feels like he tries to hard to be edgy and thinks he's too punk for everyone else
