Its not just that a line or a scene is written funny, it's the performers choices, especially in the case of someone as naturally talented as McCarthy.

I think the scene in Bridesmaids when she threw her leg up on the airplane was one of her funniest scenes. But that scene in the 40's movie in the principle's office was pretty hilarious, too. She's one of the few people in Hollywood who I'd actually like to meet.
