Coming back to this video, it makes me wonder why ALL TV shows cant do what Brooklyn 99 does with Jake and Amy. They're a couple that everyone loves and yet no unnecessary drama. The only drama surrounding that couple was them having little arguments/debates over real life things like about whether to have kids or not. They always supported each other no matter what.
Thats why even when I was younger I always preferred Blair and Dan, Aria and Noel, Rachel and Joey. they may be less popular couples on the shows, but they were the healthiest.
I just hate it how writers make the main couple extremely toxic and I hate how fans actually love and say that these toxic/abusive couples are true love and so cute/adorable.

Mon el was from the planet where everyone was bad never grew in a good family became better after met kara he had a bad moments but yet he was learning from his every mistakes and he was over protective of kara because he had no one else to love and when he came from future he was one of the best character in the show and he loved her and still left kara and earth for his team and to save future and also left his wife too because he knew he can't love her the way he love kara it would have unfair to imra and also Mon el was ready to die with his planet people to save earth from his family didn't care About her because he knew they are bad people

I just don't get the appeal of Rumbelle, everything about that relationship screamed 'ew! ' for me. No romance which starts from captivity can be really healthy. and then there's the fact that he was given SO many chances to grow as a person, but the writers just wanted to keep their favourite creepy version of the character. Belle was incredibly brave for pushing him away and standing her ground, but then her coming back to him just ruined it for me.

Finally Chuck and Blair they were one of those most toxic couples Ive ever seen in a tv show I dont understand how so many people ship them.
But I do disagree with Damon and Elena- if they were to get together in the earlier seasons it would have been toxic, but I think the clips they showed and the voiceover didnt accurately represent their relationship at all.

Ross and Rachel are not even that bad lol. I wouldnt call them toxic. I mean, they have their problems, but they were never physically abusive and they do truly care about each other, which is more than I can say for Chuck and Blair. If a couple were perfect and had no problems, it wouldve been boring and unrealistic. I prefer the imperfect Ross and Rachel.

I dont think any of these couples were toxic (I havent watched all the shows but from the ones I know. Toxic is such a big word and I think it should only be used for couples that either there was some sore of physical/mental violence or major forms of manipulation, an example of an actual toxic tv couple is Coach Bieste and Cooter Mankins from Glee

im not saying i ship couples on this list but i find it funny how half of the couples on this list are much popular then any of the other couples on those exact shows for example chuck & blair, Damon and Elena, piper & Alexia, kara and mon-el. all of those couples are popular. what they go through is what makes good tv. No one wants boring couples.

All these couples actually pales compared to Doug and Carrie in The King of Queens. They're THE worst couple in TV history. Mean, manipulative, abusive, threatening, bullying, jealous, controlling, want each other to fail for selfish reasons, feel good about the other person feeling bad and so many more terrible things. And they're married.
