I love these top 10s, but, this one missed. I don't agree with number one, as it didn't show M & R's true connection. I agree with the comment about Rachel's maid of honor stuff she saved, the offscreen kiss to get their apartment, when Rachel was hoping to get the truth from Monica about her and Chandler, and the baby name should have been number 1. Also, don't feel bad for Phoebe, she is such a strong, self confident character, that she also knows and loves that M & R are best friends as much as we do, thats what makes her such a giving and loving soul. I will say this, as I look back on this show with a distant perspective that times gives, Chandler is now my least favorite character. If you rrrrrrrealllyyy look past the funny responses and physical humor, he is actually the most self absorbed, most self centered, most emotionally distant of all of them. I think they should have had him pair off with Janice, as SHE truly was his match and Monica should have ended up with Richard. But thats all moot, the show is what it is. an American Classic.

for me they are the best friends of the series (at least the female friendship) they have been friends since childhood, in one episode they mention that it is since the fourth series of the school (and can be friends from before, at least the friends before they are, and if there is one thing that I appreciate and admire is childhood friendship, many people are saying that monica is better than rachel as a friend (that monica is too good for her) but this is not true, both love each other and support each other and do everything to help each other (as the series showed)

I love Rachel I really do, but I cant get rid of the fact that Rachel is the least friends material of all the friends. Just look at this list, for instance, almost all of it consists of Rachels problems and Monica sacrificing herself or giving up on her (except the Rachel moving out one but still, it ended with fights too. Shes so self-centered but its what makes her great and still I love her.

How about when Rachel was waiting for mark to call her for a job Monica advice her to call him to make thing happen it did work she got the job even though it causes problems with her & ross, what about when Ross got engaged to Emily, Monica comfort Rachel over that, Monica throw Rachel a baby shower

Where Monica's thunder was stolen. The night monica gets engaged Monica tells Rachel that she will announce that she's pregnant on Rachel's wedding day. But in reality Rachel is announced pregnant on Monica's wedding day. Nobody has ever pointed out this.

Well, season 2 was the only season where friends surpassed Frasier in ratings.
Then again, season 3 of Frasier wasn't that good anyway, Moon Dance and Look Before you Leap are the only real memorable eps.
