Hey, 90s baby here lol, I was just talking to my boyfriend about It Takes Too, I barely remember the movie but I remembered it being similar to The Parent Trap because of the plot and because of Mary-Kate and Ashley. And how Kirstie Alleys character in the movie reminded me of Lisa Ann Walters character from The Parent Trap (the one with Lindsay Lohan. Also, also It Takes Too made me want a sloppy Joe lol! I never knew what it was until I saw that movie and idk which twin it was who was eating it but she made it look really good

Between look who's talking now and it takes two, two of my favorite movies as a kid, she was on my TV a lot and she'll be sorely missed. Another thing I found out later after becoming a Prince fan- on his Symbol album, there are two segues and she plays a reporter trying to get the full story from him about how his name (whether it was a calculated move on his part or not, it was still his last album before he changed his name to a symbol in 1993)

One of her more underrated roles was as Ann Putnam in Salem Witch Trials. I still remember how well she played her as a vindictive, bitter, resentful, cruel woman who got in over her head. There's a scene where some of the women are executed and she watches as they are hanged and suddenly realizes what she has done and just breaks down. It's powerful and memorable and stuck with me all these years.

I loved Kirstie Alley in any movie or tv show. I'm really going to miss her especially seeing her on big screen. I still can't even believe this, it's been like 4 since I been mourning over her. I would like to thank her for all the laughs and smile, she has given me. RIP To True Soul Kirstie Alley

I loved her in North & South in which she starred along side Patrick Swayze, David Carridean and so many other absolutely amazing award winning actors. It was about the American civil war. Its an amazing mini series which showed what a truly talented actress she was.

Theres a video going around of Kirstie as a contestant on Match Game before her acting career. She looked fabulous and won the episodes grand prize ($5, 000. A 21-year old Jamie Lee Curtis was one of the celebrity panelists as was 57-year old Betty White!

Gotta say, a little disappointed that all there was shown of her role as Virgilia Hazard in North and South was a short clip. Definetely my favorite role of hers and deserved one of the top spots. RIP Kirstie!

Usually when they replace a character on a show it doesnt work but it did with the Rebecca character and it really did feel like she had been on the show from the beginning R. I. P. Kristie Alley

Just watched her in Star Trek and that could be a run off series, as she cried at spocks funeral She could have been his long lost half sister with human emotions.

Kirstie Alley is awesome in general, but the only movies I like her in is the look who's talking franchise, also that Minnesota accent didn't really work for her.
reply

Missing 2 good roles here: her character Virgilia Hazzard in the mini series North and South, and her role with Mark Harmon in the film Summer School.

I had a crush on Kirstie when I was a kid, which is weird because I was born in the 90s, I guess I always liked older women. RIP to one the GOATs

Laughed while watching tv today. Kirstie on Cheers singing, we have tonight. Deserved her Emmys. Belly laughed. Today's tv doesn't do that.

Saavik was half-Vulcan. The other half was supposed to be Romulan. Something to ponder about the character.
