Yeah, this documentary was amazing. Janet is amazing, the jacksons are amazing, even Joseph in some ways. It was suprising about the racism, but most white familes I know would be the same if they were rich and lived in a nice neighbourhood where there was no coloured people, and black people would probably be the same imo. Look at Africa albinos was killed for being white I think. I don't know if this is true, but I don't know if Janet was that into singing at first. Also no offence intended, but I don't find true black women that attractive, but Janet is when her weight isn't too big. Janet looks really attractive at times. She's an amazing singer, dancer and artist. I'm a male and I wish I could be like her with the success and dancing and showmanship/womanship and entertainment skills.
Also in the documentary when the interviewers were interviewing the Jacksons and Joseph it's like they was getting off on asking Joseph about punishing the kids. The guys were sly imo.

Honestly, the vast majority of what was in the documentary was already known by most Janet fans. The things we really wanted to know she kept to herself. She didn't truly address the secret daughter issue. Glossed over that. Didn't address the Bobby Brown affair while being engaged, didn't cover being married for exactly five years to her baby's father which the prenup specifically awarded her 100 million for those five years with more if she had a child and she didn't give any insight on all of her plastic surgery etc. The documentary was a glossed over chaotically edited mash up in my opinion. She could have just kept to herself as usual and not teased her fans with that documentary. Also, what she revealed could have been done in a one part 40 minute slot. Just saying.

Their father serverly abuse them the way Michael described it. Their sister Latoya in a interview tells their father Joe molested their sister rebbie and the mother knew about it.

I knew a couple of the things she shared but most I didn't know. But I wasn't surprised because in that industry you exprience a lot. I thought she would have talked about her Diamond Collection business and being a CEO and maybe show us her penthouse in Manhattan which she's had for years. I really thought she might give us a peek of her production company and the companies she started when she was 19 or early twenties BUT I'm also glad that she doesn't always want to share what she's doing just to brag.

That's what this society doesn't get: no matter how much progress America has made on race relations, the baggage from the past and previous generations still has an impact on younger generations. Janet's parents faced worse racism than she has, but she was still exposed to the anger and sadness felt by her Mom & Dad as a reaction to this hatred. That's how it passes from parents to children and it's gonna take some more time for this racism to be excised from society.

Coca Cola dropping her was the best thing that could have ever happened to her if she had weight issues, that crap is toxic, and can remove rust and unclog drains, it shouldnt be consumed by human intestines! She would have been 500lbs, serious health problems. Blessings in disguise.

Another weird attention seeking Jackson! All that plastic surgery and fake voices is so weird. And you see head that MJ was just as much as a bully as his dad was. Always crying bout getting called big nose but then puts down his sister! Crazy! Worst thing though is all there fake voices and crying bout there childhoods lol its so delusional! Havent they heard of real terrible childhoods

The issue about her missing daughter they actually did a DNA test cause his mom couldn't believe the girl either and it came back that he IS THE FATHER. The girl said that if it was false why does Janet keep refusing to do a DNA test and prove she's lying. I agree with the girl. If she's not your daughter shut her up for good by proving it to her and the world.

I have a new profound respect for her after watching Janet present the real Janet and how much a strong hardworking talented sweet woman she is. Her family has a special close bond yes there was issues but there was lots of love and support from one another and I love seeing the real Janet from Janet Jackson and how her story went and is still continuing.

Love the special bonding Michael & Janet had. Mike also shared earlier how they had many things in common and they would come up with the same ideas often. Just saw parts of her documentary and I am in tears. It hurts but glad at least their last message was I love you.

My takeaway is that Janet is bitter about being in Michael's shadow. She also feels like her career was affected by his controversies and she had to sacrifice her career to support him. Not what I expected.
