It's an iconic kiss. It just doesn't seem very romantic. Too uncomfortable looking with the rain and being upside down. Tobey MaGuire himself stated that it was awful and that a lot of water got in his nose. I just don't get the appeal especially since it occurs immediately after MJ was nearly assaulted. Apparently, Tom Holland likes the idea of trying the upside down kiss with Zendaya. They probably already have by now. Sweet. So the kiss does capture the imagination. Again, though, the logistics of it really make it objectively uncomfortable. Not very romantic imho. I think Peter's and Michelle's kiss in NWH, just before the memory erasure, conveys. well. everything. I can see why someone might think it came in very high at 2nd. For me, it's 1st.

Aw, you're only counting the moments in movies? You're missing out on so many sweet moments from the comics, like when Peter took MJ to the top of the Empire State Building, or when Pete gave MJ webshooters for her birthday, all those sweet times they worked together to take down bad guys in Renew your Vows, or heck, their wedding! You could've even used clips from the 90s animated show for that!

My favourite romantic movie in the Spider-Man was Gwen and Peter it was so cute in the movie the chemistry and it was lovely and even though it ended Too short know that shes always going to be in his heart to watch him to save the city including his love ones and no matter what happened he always will be the Spider-Man

Mary Jane and Peter Parker moments are beautiful especially the upside down kiss. Peter Parker and Gwen Stacy's chemistry is something else and my favourite Peter&Gwen scene is the bridge scene and Michelle Jones & Peter's goodbye scene in No Way Home is just beautiful and heartbreaking. Love all Spider-Man couples!

I love the Peter and Gwen love story she maybe no longer alive she has always loved Peter it's really sad that she can't be with Peter at least she got to date Peter when she did before she died I can tell she really loved Peter they were meant to be she won't get married or have kids of her with Peter

Peter and MJ are brilliant together in Far From Home and No Way Home. The reason why I haven't said Homecoming is because they don't actually speak to each other in that film. Hell, I still don't understand why Peter even likes her in Far From Home. He actually doesn't speak to her at all in Homecoming.

As much as I love the Marc Webb The Amazing Spider-Man film series, MJ running from her wedding to be with Peter and the upside-down kiss are my absolute favorites and will always be forever. Tobey Maguire and Kirsten Dunst deserved that MTV Movie Award for Best Kiss 100%.

The scene in No Way Home where Peter says goodbye to MJ and Ned was so bittersweet. When he sees them again in the restaurant, he's tempted to tell MJ who he really is, but as he's lost so many loved ones already, he knows that it's ultimately for the best.

As much I liked Tobey Maguire and Kirsten Dunst better because I grew up with that even though there were toxic moments, I think Tom Holland and Zendaya had a better relationship. Better than Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone.
