Honorable mention to the show Titus for the 'Thar ya be' gas scene.
During the episode, Christopher Titus has his mom's abusive new husband tied up to a chair with his dad ( Stacey Keach ) and brother ( Zach Ward ) and explaining to his mentally ill mother that the man's abusive behavior isn't 'quirky' and how saying 'thar ya be' after passing gas is quirky. Well, during the scene, Zach say the line twice, the latter followed by a real fart so noxious that everyone in the scene fled the room. even the man tied to a chair attempted to hop away

Absolutely sinful that the 3rd Rock from the Sun episode where John Lithgow's character has a mid life aging crisis and shows up with dyed hair and leather pants to work didn't at least get an honorable mention. Perhaps it was because John was so disciplined in setting up the joke that he didn't break character. John was on point with how he acted the scene out and Jane Curtin couldn't keep it together. That had to have been one of the more fun sets to work on overall.

#1 should be the Great Herring War from the Golden Girls.
It was one of the first St. Olaf stories, and Betty White reportedly went off-script to catch everyone by surprise. Bea Arthur and Rue McClenahan are legitimately in stitches but desperately trying to hold it together, and the director decided to keep it in the final product because it made the budding friendship between the three ladies all the more believable.

They were all good and the fight in Karen's bathroom could be a solid number three but the best is kitty's dance w/the stripper. It's like watching a hockey fight where you know nobody's gonna break it up. And Tim's elephant story where Vicky finally has enough and asks is this asshole about done, and Tim and Dick Van Dyke both fall off the couch.
reply

Carol Burnett was always chocked full of them and were what made her show so iconic and essentially untouchable to modern entertainment (especially since that type of program is pretty much now extinct.
Many on this page would probably be surprised to find out that Betty White was a common guest and had a standing role in the family sketches.

Actually, totally agree. I know Lawrence, Burenett, Conway, Korman are of a different era, and the show was more a skit than a full blown sit com, but, the Elephant story works so well, because, in the end, it's 4 great friends losing it. As far as PIV-it. been there, done that, and, no, yelling it louder didn't work for me, either.

5: 56. I'm sorry. I don't know enough of my Always Sunny. Did no one pick up on his actual Latin? Tongue in cheek, but he says I'll fake it which sounds like I'll facit and facit is Latin for do it so, he's essentially saying Leave it to me, I'll do it. Am I looking too far into things again?

I wish The Great Herring War scene from Golden Girls made it onto the list. It was kept in the show, Bea Arthur and Rue McClanahan could not keep it together while Betty White managed to stay in character up until the very end, when she started laughing.

#1 is absolutely correct! I remember this scene from my childhood. I laughed so hard I fell off my chair. Whenever anyone asks (and sometimes when they don't) about the funniest thing I've ever seen, it's the elephant scene every time

Tim Conway was infamous for changing what he did in rehearsals to something outrageous during the live taping. His goal was to completely destroy Harvey Korman. Carol Burnett, to her credit, kept most of the bloopers in the aired episodes.

I always thought the Boy Meets World or Home Improvement sets looked fun to be on. That said, the Couch Gag (Eric in the couch costume, Boy Meets World) and You wanna piece of me? (Seinfeld) will always be favorites of mine
reply

There are so many episodes of Martin that could be on this list. You can see the cast breaking. The one i always think of is when reenacted the scene from new jack city with the fake dog. The cast is cant hide their laughs
reply

From Supernatural, the blooper of when Sam tries to break the pearl and hits his dad ( guest star Jeffry Dean Morgan) and the entire cast breaks. that would've been a better choice.
(season 15- the 300th episode event)

The Carol Burnett show one is an oldie, but Tim Conway seems to be done talking when he suddenly, & seemingly unexpected says theres a rumour going around the circus that the dwarf & the elephant are lovers. Its still funny.
reply

I hate to be that person but this seems like these bloopers could've been presented better. I feel like each blooper set up was incomplete or something. Idk something feels off about how this was edited lol

The Elephant Story.
Vicki Lawrence did an interview on it YEARS later, and she talked about how her husband basically said Get him!
She did, and destroyed everyone, including Dick Van Dyke.

I didn't think penny's name was pronounced the way you said it I just saw the movie Why Him and she plays the voice of a siri elexa type device and I'm sure she even pronounced it differently.
reply

The Elephant story is the most hilarious blooper ever. Everything about Tim Conway's delivery was hysterical. He just wouldn't stop until he broke everyone. And he definitely succeeded.
reply

The Plasma TV bloopers are my favorite extra bits from _The Office. _ The conversation is so mundane, yet it ends up hilarious. I swear, Steve Carell can make anything funny.
reply

I watched this almost certain that the parks and rec episode where Chris Pratt mentioned Kardashians on discussions of comeback stories. and everyone just breaks still cracks me up
reply

How coukld you build it up and play the funny part of every clip but then drop the ball so HARD on the last one? You could always have bleeped out the a-hole word.
reply

Just sad I didn't hear Vicki's final comment on the Elephant story in this clip, but it is far the absolute best blooper followed closely by Tim's Dentist, skit.
reply

Thank jeebus that we got to have Betty White and all her hilarity forever recorded into the ether of the internet. God the world is a lesser place without her.
reply

Given the premise of broke the entire cast, your Honorable Mentions should have replaced the ones in your top 10 that didn't meet the criteria.
reply

I find it incredible that Betty White wasnt meant to be a regular on Hot in Cleveland. I reckon they needed her - Im so glad she stayed on.
reply

The Gunsmoke blooper where Margaret Hamilton used the word ass and it broke up everyone as the show was supposed to be for families.
reply

You made me forget my lines! - Delta Burke after her first kiss with now husband Gerald McRaney on Designing Women. Got press replay.
reply

Everytime time i hear TV Blooper, the first thing i think of is The Elephant StoryAlso the Dentist Sketch from Carol Burnett show
reply

Im happy these are my favorite bloopers, so I have seen the funniest funniest moments of these bloopers. You did not put them in
reply

The best part of Lisa joining in on the bagpipes is that I swear she hit the notes dead on.
And you left out Mama's line!
