Just made a trip to ny for a medical thing but had a chance to stop by both JG Melon's AND Peter Luger to compare PLAIN burgers (well bacon on the side for later insertion. JG is hit above Luger's. The way the meats were aged or cuts used put JG's burger in that category of what you want out of a steak burger without all the chewing. Thanks for the suggestion. And this week, I just tried Wolfgang's in Waikiki's cheeseburger, it was an honest cheeseburger, without the steak taste.

NYC's Most Famous Burger Restaurant? Not hardly. I've been here for all of my 65 years, love a good burger, and never heard of it. OTOH, The Spotted Pig, or PJ Clarke's - now we're talkin' famous. Perfectly OK that it's Delany's favorite - there are lots of neighborhood places in NY that serve delicious food and everyone is enthusiastic about their neighborhood joints, but if you're from outside the nabe, you've never heard of it, and probably don't want to.

Super fun to watch but 12 for that simple BLT? You could spend 9 on whole pack of the Peter Luger thick cut bacon and a loaf of (real) bread and make the best english bacon type sandwiches instead. but that's just me tho.

Honestly dead at them being so sad about the one bite thing but taking full advantage of the one bite of that burger tried to fit half the burger into their mouth
