Oh my word, while watching this, I just realized I. I must be a Picky Eater. Gabys sandwich is the only one Id enjoy all the others look fantastic but they each have at least one ingredient that would ruin it for me. ALSO, this kitchen is full of people who mispronounce words on purpose, but when Brad does it, its ridiculous? That aint right.

OK so I was a really picky-eater growing up and my mom used to pack my lunch sometimes with a ham sandwich on a kaiser roll with margerine (nothing else, thought mayo was gross. Looking back I thought this was a very odd sandwich (no longer a picky-eater. And now I have had a revelation that she was just making jambon-beurre. Thanks Brad

It's so sad that Brad is sharing his childhood, and trails off and insults himself for telling a story because no one was listening to him. Q -Q I wanna hear all the stories, as long as you're making your foods, share all you want it gives nice backround while you're cutting and doing other things.

There is actually nothing better than a jambon buerre sandwich, but Brad's right that ingredient quality matters so much. You can get neither bread nor butter nor ham of anything like high enough quality at a regular North American grocery store. Try one if you ever go to Paris, they're insanely good.

There is a French bakery in Seattle's Pike Place Market called Le Pannier that makes a Jambon & Beurre baguette that is to die for. They make about 4 different French baguette sandwiches and each has only 2 ingredients and each one is fabulous. It's ALL about the bread

6: 33 is she actually draining the oil in the sink? you really shouldnt do that that oil is probably going to contaminate a water resource near you, for example the ocean or a lake or river. you really should be careful when throwing your used oil away

The original Muffuletta was born in Sicily, long before the Muffuletta Sandwich created in New Orleans. In Sicily, the Muffuletta is a typical round bread with sesame seeds. Chris is making a Muffuletta Sandwich. Please, don't confuse them

Wow, Carla was almost not annoying in this one. Probably helps that her segment was short, there was a leaf blower outside my window making her almost inaudible, and I focused on looking at the food instead of her most of the time.
