Bladesmith Quintin Middleton makes Damascus steel knives. His pieces are inspired by a blend of Japanese and European knife styles, and sword-brandishing childhood heroes like Conan the Barbarian and He-Man p3tr0l: Great video! I'm an intermediate beginner knife maker (stock removal, Quintin's breakdown of the various steps makes this art accessible to anyone interested in pursuing it.
It's great to see genuine, passionate people succeeding in doing what they love.

Can I ask something? I ve seen a lot of stuff on culture appropriation and I think this is an example of how all humans, being able to participate in all culture, is the rite of that human and should be Encouraged. I read a comment on another video. That said it s not ok to make money off of a cultural product like this guy pulling inspiration from Japanese knifes. I think all culture is my culture and same for this guy. But where is the line really and should their be one? Great knifes brother keep doing your thing.

Using the ceramic wool to block his forge like that is very dangerous. The fibers from that stiff are very dangerous. Not smart
