I dig how Lucas focuses on describing the food and not saying, Wow! This is amazing. like every other foodie. Even if it is or isn't. He kind of paints a picture of the food and it slightly makes me feel like I can taste it from home. I think a lot of people are misunderstanding his descriptions as if he doesn't like it at all. Has anyone tried explaining a food they've eaten without repeating words over and over. So he takes a second to put together his sentences in order to give us a show that we enjoy watching and isn't repetitive over the past whatever amount of seasons.

So I'm raised and still live in Kahuku I can look out of my window and literally see this place from my house. this entire time I never knew people could go up this hill I should check it out sometime. Also0: 45 seconds the map is marked as Kahuku but the location of the red star is far off. The star looks like its in the Waimea area hahaha Kahuku is literally the very tip northern tip.

+eltubo242 AGREED! Luc sounded like he was just disappointed and wasted his time suffering through the weather for BS tasteless food. He's already had authentic Hawaiian food and then had to downgrade (must be so sad. That's how I feel going into overrated places where the avg. customer just likes anything with salt and pepper and maybe some paprika too.

Imagine if all nations still acted like the USA and assumed that because they bought some land they bought its people to. Hawaii, Guam, Puerto Rico, you disgusting people have bought more cultures than you did slaves to build your nation in the first place. How long do you think a nation founded on a disease can last?

Is it illegal to sell beer in Hawaii? so then where do they get their beer? are smuggling it on the Island or something? not that I drink beer just curious & how are they still in business out in the middle of no where? lol! you'd think you'd want your food truck where the people are.

I love the way he discusses and gives viewers insight into food, Lucas you are amazing and probably (actually definitely my favourite food dude/dudette) on youtube. And you were on Westworld, please tell me you ate dinner with Anthony Hopkins.

I just had the brisket there on vacation. best I have ever had. At 15 you can't complain about price, it would cost at least that here on the mainland and it was wayyyyyy better. Check this place out if your on Oahu!

I love BBQ but I don't know how people just slop down brisket with layers of fat and slimy gristle hanging off it. I can only eat the meat the fat literally makes me gag the second I feel it or bite it.

I got the truck already. Cause I got it on accident in an auction. He is the type of person who searches 'help I accidently built a shelf instead of a chair' on Google.

Lucas seemed kind of hung over on this one. not his usual upbeat self. also didn't really like the cursing either - just out of place for dining on a dime!
