I've been to these and by execution it's poorly done. You're going to wait a LONG LONG LONG time if you request a particular meat, like Filet Mignon wrapped in bacon they serve. You can ask the waitor 100 times that you're waiting for it and it'll come when it comes. Ofcourse they ONLY give you the cheapest cuts of meats 9/10 times and purposely leave the Filet Mignon for either never or much later to the point that by the time it gets to you, you're already so full that you can't even look at another piece of meat. This is how these type of restaurants also make more money. However, ALL the meat is always very well seasoned and prepared so they're all delicious. I just hate that the FIlet Mignon and other cuts of meat are always either purposely never brought even after you ask for it for over 30 minutes or that by the time they bring it out they already know you're more likely not going to want it because you're at the point of explosion.

Went to a place similar to this in Lisbon Portugal in 2005. It was 20 for as much meat as you wanted and you only paid for your drinks. Had this black bean stuff as a side. Was really good. All the meat was cooked rare and was very suculent and tender which is perfect for my taste. Some fried potato skins or fried sweet potato chips would have made the experience even better though.

Two things I noticed. The restaurant is over half empty. Why? The clientele is mainly men. I've been to Fogo de Chao in Austin and in Houston and wasn't impressed. The first time I couldn't find one thing on the salad bar I would put into my mouth. The second time I went around the salad bar and found salad on the other side. Must have not done that the first time.

I've been here personally and let me just say. it's really good. Their meats are insanely good. They have alot of different types as well. Moreover, they have sort of a salad bar that has a mix of Italian meats and cheeses, with grains, pastas, antipasto, pastries, fruits. and so on. It's all good. Even the desserts are fantastic. This place is worth it.

Is there anybodt in your establisment who is actually Brazilian or knows how to carve meat on a shish? Because the knife your using is meant for boning meat not slicing. I have been to Brazil I don't know how authentic this is. I will definitely come by and try this place and give a positive feedback!

I learned very quickly, do not eat a lot of the salad / seafood bar first. Otherwise you can't eat much meat. The places I have eaten at also had chicken, pork. Lamb, and other meats. I ate twice at one restaurant in Rio de Janeiro and it was as good as the ones in the US.

I would hire Katie immediately at my wedding to serve that wonderful piranha. Stop! I would let her give the toast and let her decide where my wonderful bride and I would spend our honeymoon. Stop! I would let her participate in the raunchy action after the wedding.

I just tried this place in Minneapolis for my first time earlier this month, It was amazing! So many meats and other foods I've never tried! My favorite was the house special! It literally melted in my mouth! Honestly for the price, It was 100% worth it

I love Fogo. It was the first time I ever had meat with pink or red on it ba k in 2002. I was afraid. but it was life changing. Before that, I only ate well well well done meat, almost burned.
