You can never go wrong when pairing chocolate with peanut butter. Even if you don't like peanut butter you are going to love these Chocolate Peanut Butter Bars. The flavors combine so well, a bit of sweet, salty, chocolaty, nutty flavor, mmmm. totally amazing. It takes no more than 20 minutes to prepare and everybody will love it. To print the recipe check my blog: Ingredients Makes 9-12 servings Base 7 oz (200g) digestive biscuits (graham crackers) 1/3 cup (70g) unsalted butter, melted 1/2 cup (120 g) crunchy or creamy peanut butter Chocolate Layer 7 oz (200 g) bittersweet chocolate (55%-70% cocoa) 1/4 cup (60g) creamy peanut butter, divided Directions 1. Place the biscuits (or graham crackers if used) into the bowl of a food processor and blend until crumbs form. Add peanut butter and melted butter and process until completely combined and the mixture holds together. 2. Slightly grease a 8x8 inch (20x20cm) square pan and line with parchment paper, in such a way that some edges are longer to make it easy to lift it up once it's set. 3. Spread the peanut butter mixture into the prepared baking pan and press with the back of the spoon to create a smooth surface. 4. Melt chocolate and 2 tbsp (30g) of creamy peanut butter over bain marie, over low heat. Stir until smooth. Meanwhile place the other 2 tbsp (30g) of peanut butter into a small sauce pan over low heat and stir until melted and smooth. Spread the chocolate over peanut butter layer. Add teaspoons of melted peanut butter on top and with a knife create swirls on the surface. 5. Refrigerate for 2 hours to set. Let it sit 10 minutes at room temperature before cutting. Bars can be frozen well. Enjoy

These are insane I cannot stop eating them. I was looking for a pb bar that didn't have all of that unnecessary extra sugar. & I'm glad that I decided NOT to go with milk chocolate over dark. The dark/bittersweet chocolate compliments the pb mixture so well Delicious combo. The only change made was that I had to add a few extra graham crumbles to the mix in order to resemble yours in the vid, but I made it work Will definately be repeating this experience again I'd love to make another batch & freeze them. Thank you

Thank you. i like the recipe a lot. I do it twice, because i'v made mistakes in the first time (i melt the chocolate in microwave so we taste a smoke/burn thing & the chocolate became clotted. And the biscuit was so oily and tasteless. So i reduce the butter and peanuts butter in second time and add some honey ) the second time was amazing but I can't have this perfect swirl look

This was the best and healthiest recipe for peanut butter bars. It's literally the only one that hasn't sugar. I added this to my recipes like 2 years ago and finally last month I made this recipe. It's so delicious even without sugar. no sugar needed

THIS. ROCKED. I, literally, just made this. I originally thought there was too much of the crackers-base, and too little of the chocolate-PB topping, but I trusted HCA, and by god, it worked perfectly Anytime I'm trying something new, HCA is my girl.

I'm not one for double boilers or pots of clean up, etc. other than the 88 pan to set it in, everything else can be done with a microwave and zip lock bags. Great video. Keep 'em coming.
