This wonderful rich and tasty beef curry recipe is infused with all the exotic flavours of Thailand. The amazing Khun Saiyuud Diwong (or Poo for short) dropped into Jamie's own kitchen to show him how it's done. You've never seen anything as tasty as this Food Tubers!

Love this pressure cooker! >>> ur2. pl/1035 I made Thai curry with chicken in 30 min and steamed rice in 6! I was a bit apprehensive as this is my first time using anything like this but getting started was pretty simple. It is important to follow instructions and season the seal. This would be a great gift for busy moms or really anyone who needs great food, super fast. I got this during prime day but will look for another deal around the holidays.

Quite a few of the notes on the video don't correspond to Poo's instructions! Firstly. She's not using tamarind paste but taramind sauce! Use tamarind sauce, people! Secondly - when she dry fries the fresh ingredients, she asks Jamie for the pan to be really hot, but the screen notes state low heat for 5 minutes! She asked for low heat when dry frying the seeds!

I actually discovered this dish almost 20 years ago, in a tiny little restaurant on Koh Samui island in Thailand, and it blew my tiny mind. It's notoriously difficult to recreate at home, in your own kitchen, it's the Massaman paste, that takes many hours to make, and a plethora of ingredients are required for the paste alone.

Everyone here feel disturbing with her name - Poo but seems OK about western nickname like Dick. So, Jamie should find famous chef named Dick and make a YouTube program named Cooking with Dick. Everyone will be OK, I guess. ;) P. S. Do you know, Jones in Thai means thief but Thais have no problem about this western name.

This scared me - I had this curry in a Thai restaurant the other day, not having a clue what it really was (just took a gamble. It was delicious and thought I'd learn how to make it. then I learn it is cooked with poo! Y'wot? Then oh. Poo is the chef. Thank goodness for that.

quick question. I have a beautiful pestle and mortar but in the case that you don't have one, can you grind and blend the dry and fresh ingredients into a paste in a small blender? Jamie did it with his prawn red thai curry. Just thinking out loud. Please reply: )

Just a boring educational post from me. No Poo jokes. If you didn't already know, Massaman is an old Thai-Persian fusion dish. We believe it was first created by migrant traders to Siam back in the day. Hence the use of Persian spices in the curry.

Lot if unnecessary bourgeois ingredients in this. All those seeds and a bunch of other crap you don t even need for basic, delicious massaman curry. The one guys video on here, soft spoken Thai chef much better and practical.
