Now I'm 17 and my dad still makes me that shit everyday.
After the holidays I'm going to start making my own bento boxes and might teach my sister to do it too.

Looks delicious, can't wait to give it a try! Italians make rice balls as well. We stuff the rice with either mozzarella or a beef and vegetable mixture, before breading and frying them! We make them for every holiday in my household.

I would love to make a lunch like this for my daughter but I'm not sure how to pack it. Could anyone advice me on how to make sure the items don't get soggy or dry out? She's in third grade and doesn't have access to a microwave. Thanks!

Im Sri Lankan. We dont have any dish like rice balls but when we feed young children, we mash up the rice and the meat/fish and vegetable curries to form into tiny balls to feed them. Theyre delicious lol.

in italy there are some kind of rice balls called arancini and theyre fried, theyre a popular street food in street food festivals - theyre a specialty of the region of sicily and theyre really good imo
