hi Mr Devaux! been a huge fan for a few years now, and I was wondering if you're hirable to cook (or at least lead the cooking) for my wedding one day? watching these videos makes me more hungry and relaxed than anything in the whole world. I always get so excited when I see your videos! I was thinking it would be an absolute honor to have you. problem is, I live in Canada and have no set wedding plans (but I found the one I plan on marrying so that's a start) would love to hear back at your earliest convenience.

I clicked pause before the video began because I can t watch a lobster being prepared. I wanted to tell you though I appreciate your warnings in the title of the video. I m not a vegetarian, in fact, I m eating a steak right now! And I love seafood, but I can t watch lobsters being cooked alive. My point is, thank you for telling your viewers before they click on the video and become scarred!

Why not reuse the water from the claws/legs boil for the kelp/katsuobushi/lobster face pieces boil? I don't like throwing away flavor if I can help it. I want to try this in my 'Instant Pot' pressure cooker where I use the same water stock throughout process. Thanks for the video.

I'm not sure why these keep getting marked Extremely Graphic. It's just a lobster. Dispatching one is pretty clean and simple. Anyway, I would love to make this. I love lobster, love miso soup. I'm putting this one on my list. Thanks for posting this!

A) This looks delicious. B) I had no idea that bonito was available in its pre-flaked form. Why is nobody I know of offering a shaved bonito by the ounce option in any restaurant in the NYC area? It s a no-brainer up-sell for any number of dishes.

Poor lobster. When you made that first cut, you could see the lobster squirming around just before he blacks out in pain. please kill the lobster before killing him, the deep sleep coma is not good enough. freeze him so he doesnt feel pain. :(

I m sorry but is there a FREAKING CHANGE IN TASTE OF THE LOBSTER IF YOU DONT KILL IT FIRST AND LET IT UNDERGO TORTURE? THATS WHAT I THOUGHT. SO please kill the lobster before cutting it further thank youuuuuu bleep

I love Miso soup the one time I had it they only had tofu in it but they where like tiny little flavorful jewels and I feel in love with it! But where I live there arent any good asian spots to eat

I feel like this is somewhat inhumane. You should have first killed the lobster by putting your knife through the cross section on its head, then take the parts that you need.

I would make this and then be too tired to actually eat it. Boil, don't boil. Boil. don't boil. Use ALL of your plates and utensils. Thanks for the video. I need a nap.
