Thank you for the tips. I make Friday chicken that way but never thought about 'not'using egg for pre-coats, and after coating letting the fillets set before and after cooking. The wooden spoon trick to test the temp was interesting. You have to taste test, that's a given. Crunchy chicken is supposed to sound crunchy. Don't apologize, they can get over it or not! BTW are you sure you won't adopt me

I love you Angelica, but every time you take a bite of your own delicious food on camera, you literally grimace like you're in extreme pain/just ate poison! No exaggeration.
If you have that same expression when eating at a restaurant, I guarantee the waiting staff will ram your table asking what's wrong with the food!

All are good looking pieces of chicken! You mentioned maybe too much oil this timr. But except for frying enchilada you are often generous with your oil. Double you ever clean your oil and use it again. There are recipes on line to clean oil using water and baking soda. It works.

I like using light beer instead of water when making a pancake like batter for chicken, onion rings or tempura type frys. Never thought of using crushed corn flakes. I will try this recipe. Thank you!

It did not bother me about the crunching I watch a lot of videos where people smack while eating and that is annoying but this was not. I love the sound of the crunching I got to try this recipe

I love crunchy food, but I don’t like to hear people eating it. I have misophonia. I am going to make your crunchy recipe but serve it in buns to muffle the sound. Don’t judge me.

Nothing new boo! I use some plain yogurt with a tblsp of milk then I use my own breadcrumbs that I have from leftover breather I dried in oven or you can use store bought crumbs.

Take those flatted chicken breasts, dip in egg wash then coat with panko, spray with a bit of oil and cook in air fryer 8 minutes per side. Easy, crispy and no frying mess.

I order a hot honey chicken sandwich from a restaurant called Range Cafe and the chicken was bigger than bun. This reminded me of it. Crunch is key.

I use cornflakes for my fried shrimp. It's extra good for coconut shrimp.
I'll have to try this with chicken, it looks delicious.

I've had good success using the egg only, with no flour dredge. Coat it in breadcrumbs, then into the air fryer for 14 minutes.
