I know everyone has their own way of making things but you are missing the BUTTER, tyme, parsley, rosemary! Please try it! How I make mine, onion, bell pepper, garlic, season with garlic salt & powder, onion powder, Cajun seasoning, black pepper, rosemary, paprika, tyme, parsley, chicken STOCK or chicken bouillon powder, 1 stick of butter, a packet of brown gravy mixed in 1 cup water, carrots, celery & potatoes! Nothing like it!

Helpful Hint: If you don't have all day to watch the pot roast, you can put it together in your crock pot liner the night before, then put that overnight in your refrigerator. Be sure to have some water in with the pot roast. The next morning before you go to work, put the crock pot liner into the crock pot base and put on the low setting. When you get home, you will have a delicious and filling supper, ready to go.

I feel like this past weekend was the weekend of the pot roast. You know we've had some heat going on down here, but I broke out the crockery pot for a roast and saw them all over social media. Mine wasn't nearly as picture perfect as yours. Let's hope that they motivate autumn to hurry up and hit south Texas.

Looks delicious!
I d like to recommend Barkeepers Friend to remove the burnt oil around your burners. You can find it cheapest at Target or Walmart sometimes. I use the powdered barkeepers friend cleanser. It s a great cleanser. I use a semi hard scrubbing sponge. It s also great for cleaning your sink.

Mmmmmm. This sounds so good. I learned an easy way to make it in a crockpot and then pour the juice from the meat and veggies into a saucepan and get it boiling and then add in some seasoned flour and make the gravy that way I don't have a roasting pan for in the oven yet! But I want 1!

I have been making a pot roast in my electric skillet. I cook it about 3 hours on 200 degrees and when it's tender I put cut up potatoes in and cook until they are tender. I like using the electric skillet because it doesn't heat up the house.

I was so scared the oil was going to splash on you if it slipped. My moms rule was to always lay it away from you so if any splash happens it would splash on the other end.

This looks amazing! My fiance bought your cookbook for my birthday a few days ago since he noticed I watch all your videos. I can't wait to try those recipes as well!
